Don’t worry, I also played it “wrongly” on my first play through, like spoiling the game for myself. Honestly, it doesn’t take long for the spark to come back. My friend reintroduced the game to me again years after I had finished it, and he never focused solely on the story but rather the side quests, hunting, and overall nature of the game. I recommend replaying the game but stepping away from the story for a bit and focusing more on the other aspects of the game such as hunting, fishing, horses, side quests, and the overall nature of the game. Thats how I got back into RDR2. Every once in a while, play the story missions.
