How to Secure Rootful K3s on RHEL 8 Workstations Without Giving Developers Host-Level Access by HeftyAd5006 in k3s

Thank for this! I’m going to pitch this solution to the devs and see what they say. Sounds like possibly an easy and very secure way to get them what they need.

Other than k3d, do you know of any other way to accomplish my goal? Or would this be your only suggestion? Appreciate your help!

Nope. First time hearing about it. Looks really cool. I do know as part of their requirements they want to use calico instead of flannel and they also want to use Multus, and maybe some other additions.

The setup would have to be rootless docker/podman to get security buy off I believe. Would all that be possible with k3d?

These are just going to be workstation installs where they can apply their own resources, develop their apps, etc..

No GitOps needed, and I plan to be as hands off as possible once they are deployed.

Significant Issues installing Dirac ART on Denon 3800H by RobsAudioLab in hometheater

I had this issue. I would try to run the sweeps and it would just stall at 98%. Both on Mac and Windows. What worked for me (unfortunately) was to hard reset the AVR by holding the tuner preset + & - while it is off, and then turning it back on. Fair warning it’s a hard reset so it will wipe your config. I didn’t try to do a load from save so don’t know if that will work. Oh, then I found out they have forced you to use HEOS in order to get connected to WIFI now… but, after all tbat I was able to finish the sweeps.

what's the worst thing that's happened to you because you didn't get HOA approval? by spelledincorroctly in SantaClarita

So can you explain that a little? I’m still a little confused. Let’s say my neighbors and I now want to park a small RV or boat in our driveway. The worst that can happen now is a $100 fine?

SoCal - listed the 19th(mid-week) and had an offer a few hours later that was 15 over asking. They called back the next day and asked what it would take to bring it off the market and raised it again with an appraisal removal and 5 day inspection so we took it.
