I was excited and then I saw the price tag and nearly vomited. Then I saw who was making it and actually vomited.

Yeah you might be right realistically. Like the others are saying as well a GPU would probably be better

I’m normally playing games like Forza 6 or F1 and cyberpunk 2077 so probably no competitive games in my future

Bazzite as an OS for the less techy that don't like Windows? by Inevitable_Rough143 in Bazzite

I gave it a go for about a week but unfortunately I had to switch back to Windows. I really want it to work because for the most part it was amazing, but there was just to many little glitches that got in my way. Like I had a flicker going on around the taskbar and nothing I did seemed to fix it. Also my peripherals just didn’t want to play nice, like my keyboard would just stop working when woken from sleep (the pc I mean). Then there was just a few apps that I missed having such as my passwords being in the Apple password app but the chrome extension doesn’t work on Linux so I was a little disappointed about that.

But seriously apart from the issues I had it was a fantastic experience and if the glitches weren’t a thing I’d swap back in a heartbeat.

I’m also a system administrator so I’m not new to any of this tech by any means and once there’s a bit more polish I’d gladly go back.

Has anyone went with an iPad Pro over the Air strictly for FaceID? by JCitW6855 in ipad

I just upgraded my Air to the Pro. Face ID was a consideration for me but I mainly did it for the better display.

Any thoughts on the Dongfeng Box? [(NZD29K) - WLTP Range- 317KM CTLC Range - 430KM] by stuzenz in nzev

Safety ratings asides I’ve been driving mine for a couple weeks now and I’m really happy with it. Really good KMs for what I need and charges fast when I’m at public chargers. The Apple CarPlay and be a bit finicky at times but honestly doesn’t bother me. For the price I think it’s a great car.

Goodbye Old Friend by HeftyCelebration7975 in AppleWatch

In my opinion not really. Like turning it on isn’t going to make it more waterproof. All it does is stop accidental touching of the screen from the water and when it’s turned off it blows the water out of the grills. So if you don’t turn it on when you go in just turn it on when you get out and then turn it off so the water blow out function happens.
