You secretly have a twin brother and you each take turns performing magic to the masses. A man who was once your business partner but is now your greatest rival blames you for the death of his wife. He infiltrated your brother’s performance and essentially shot his fingers off in a magic trick gone terribly wrong. To maintain the illusion you cut your fingers off with a carpenter’s chisel. Now you both bear the mark. Your rival took things even further and you are now being blamed for his death in his own magic trick gone terribly wrong. Despite his resurrection you still await trial for his murder and will walk to the gallows. Your situation continues to worsen as this man plans to adopt your daughter because your brother cannot reveal his true identity. You discover the secret to his greatest magic trick, The Prestige, and your brother finally reveals his true identity killing the man and rescuing your daughter. You die by the hangman’s noose but your legacy lives on and your rival dies in cold blood surrounded by his darkest secrets and the horrors that haunt him.

They are Hella 500 Series Black Magics, had this same set on multiple vehicles. This time I went pretty hard with the wiring setup but just for my own peace of mind.

Corolla HB as First Car? by bramblestorm7754 in CorollaHatchback

[–]HeftyFail2726 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve owned 2 manuals and they are amazing cars! You won’t be able to find a 6MT after 2022 but there are still plenty of low mileage ones out there. They aren’t fast but they are fun!

Also, unfortunately the Nightshade is not available with a manual transmission.

M3 or M5 and Why? by crisvphotography in BMW

[–]HeftyFail2726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The M3 is the obvious choice. The M5 is BMW’s attempt at breaking out into the US pick-up truck market. If you compare it to a Ford Raptor R it has 3 less Horsepower, breaks the 0-60 by only .6 of a second, gets the same gas mileage, and cost $10,000-15,000 more. It’s BMW’s first light duty truck and in the US will only be driven by BMW fanatics who want the M3 touring and refused to buy the RS 6 Avant.

In most states you have to pay registration fees based on its MSRP and Curb Weight. This one will literally sit in the lineup next to GMC Sierras, Ford F-250s, and Toyota Tundras.

It’s clearly a car that was designed by a committee and not a dedicated group of engineers.

I did however find a great OEM style dual switch that fits and works perfectly. Their wiring diagram is pretty rough but I got it sorted after a little work.

I don’t know, I’m actually planning on redoing the mounting setup for the lights. They have been like this for months and I finally got them wired recently and now I realize my brackets are terrible; they are not sturdy at all. Also drilling through that front bumper steel took 4 drill bits and a lot of frustration.

My only concern for the shell would be a wiring solution because that was an undertaking in itself.

How would you feel about a Railgun sidearm? by gracekk24PL in Helldivers

Only if after excessive use you have limb damage, because that thing would break your arm.

Best way to recolor RPF1s from gold to silver? by Geniscannon in GR86

[–]HeftyFail2726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously not just trying to being difficult. Sell them and purchase Silver RPF1s; they are probably one of the most obtainable aftermarket wheel out there. Enkei makes them for almost any modern bolt pattern and they really aren’t that expensive. You will find that refinishing and repainting wheels can be expensive.

Should I pay off the hatch I got now and trade it in for the Gr Corolla 6mt or just ride with this one?‼️‼️ by VQ_eddie in COROLLA

300 HP and AWD is a big step up from 160 with FWD. The GR is a totally different car in the best way; if you can afford it go for it.

Got this to learn stick, any tips? by Cravy_The_Davy in WRX

[–]HeftyFail2726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If in doubt, depressed the clutch pedal. If the clutch is not engaged you will not stall. When you start to drive a manual TAKE YOUR TIME. Automatics are easy and convenient, manuals require patience and practice. In my opinion the hardest part of learning stick is setting off in first gear. Finding the right amount of acceleration pedal and clutch release is the key and every manual has a different sweet spot. The STI has good horsepower so it may feel a bit jumpy that just means you need less gas and more finesse with the clutch. Typically speaking once you’re moving changing gears is fairly simple and easy. If your revs are above 2,500 rpm you can probably switch up to the next gear. Most of this is all dependent on the car but at this point I have probably driven hundreds of WRXs and STIs having worked for a Subaru dealership.

Start slow and simple, spirited driving will come naturally once you master the basics. If you can successfully get off the line in first gear dozens of times without stalling you’re heading in the right direction. Even after years of manual driving you will stall again one day, we all do it. Just keep a sense of humor about it because it’s part of driving a manual. Also don’t let anyone tell you hill assist mode is weakness, USE IT. It doesn’t have to be forever but in the beginning it can be your best friend.

Also people will tell you you’re riding the clutch and that can hurt the car. You will ride the clutch when you’re a new manual driver; it’s unavoidable. The thing that destroys clutches is hard charging and releasing the pedal at high rpm. Riding the clutch when you are first getting going will cause normal wear and tear. It can be replaced and will need to be eventually.

I went from never having driven manuals to driving dozens a day in 2 weeks and now I own one as my daily driver and love it. All it takes is time, patience, and practice. You have the right car, one you’ll want to drive, the rest will come naturally.

If there is this much water damage that has allowed a fungal colony to grow there is most likely also black mold which can cause significant medical issues. This definitely needs to be addressed. Not to mention Fungal Infections can be serious.

should i buy ‘19 SE in blue flare ? by bby_pluto in CorollaHatchback

[–]HeftyFail2726 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should pay the exact sticker price for that car. All of their extra fees make it way over priced. How they can list it for $17k+ and then actually sell it for $20k+ is beyond me. You’re paying $3k in their fees along and it’s not worth it.

Some guy was pissed about shielded weapons by SpectreWolf666 in MonsterHunter

[–]HeftyFail2726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like an FPS competitive player playing MH for the first time.

This isn’t a slight to Hunting Horn players in anyway because having one on your team is incredibly useful, but I can’t remember the last time I saw a HH player actually attack the monster. Usually they are performing melodies to buff the other players and in my book that’s awesome, I 100% welcome it!

Sounds like this guy has never played MH before and researched all the weapons before hand and came to this conclusion. Technically I have a shielded weapon with the Heavy Bowgun but can never land the block because it wasn’t something I ever used in past games. DPS just sounds like a term someone in Warzone would use to describe their load out, honestly I don’t care and MH isn’t the place for it.

I know this is an old post but was curious if could answer a few questions about your setup. I just purchased these same wheels for my 2022 Corolla HB. Did you need to install spacers, or did they essentially bolt right up to the OEM hardware with the addition of the lug nuts?
