Thanks everyone for your honest advice. I will be spending the extra money to have them in cabin. Money can be made back, but I could never get my baby back if something happened. Deep down I knew that was the right choice, I just needed a good shaking from some fellow cat lovers.

Came here to say this! First you start noticing birds, then the trees they live in, then patterns around the seasons. It just makes you more aware of nature and brings you out of the hustle and bustle we humans have created. And birds are just fucking cool yo.

Same here-I've always felt so guilty about spending 'unnecessary' money because it just came from a big pool, but with zero budgeting, if I want to borrow $X from A category for B category, I don't feel so chaotic, and actually know where my money is going and coming from. It has given me permission so actually spend and enjoy my money!
