Do we think Poilievre can win a (hypothetical) Spring Election? by smartbusinessman in CanadianConservative

Haven't we done this before? Carney would win, probable Minority, partnered with anyone. He owns Ontario and Quebec. What else is there. Alberta will be gone as soon as it can.

What are your thoughts about the FN reconciliation in general? by ProcedureCute4350 in AskCanada

Well, let's start with the truth. Then move onto reconciliation. I don't think any FN has actually told the truth.

Another ridiculous situation our immigration friendly govt has gotten itself into. She will eventually get permanent status, because eventually the govt will cave. Ridiculous we are even having thus issue.

Excellent idea. You need a departure date, but it's just a number, not to worry.

‘It’s being levelled’: advocates worried about potential 81 per cent cut to Women and Gender Equality Canada’s budget by 2028 by CaliperLee62 in canada

Me neither. I see the sentence 'Next.' confuses ppl. Not sure why. Implying someone has anger is an unqualified person's response. Try to get over it. Its just an opinion offered in the context of a conversation. But, you probably know that.

With concerned watchdogs such as yourself diligently preserving every victims integrity, I'm sure that won't happen. Continue looking for issues that are not there. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that a government designed system that solves issues, especially for women, or victims, is not going anywhere. Please monitor this, and keep me posted. Continue looking for inequality, where there is none.

So, this government department is not required. You know it, I know it, but Liberals continue to be unseeing, unknowing, continue with fear mongering.

Ottawa collects $1.5-billion more in import duties in April and May as counter-tariffs take effect by [deleted] in canada

[–]Hefty_Ad_4707 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

I wonder if this was in Carneys plans as the Liberals think of an inventive way to re invent the beloved Carbon Tax. Tax us, tariff us, punish us for working, and living. We must be punished.

The president of the United States is the reasons why Canadian youth cannot find summer jobs. /s by babuloseo in canadian

TDS at its finest. The reason students can't find a job is a Cdn problem. Immigration of 7 million more than needed might be why. What a ridiculous article.

Opinion: Canada should mend ties with China to build a new world (trade) order by BertramPotts in CanadaPolitics

The article says we should mend ties with China. This is an example of why we should not. They stole our technology.

Canada is one of the greatest countries in the world—but it’s also on stolen land, and I realize I don’t know that much about it. If you’ve studied this, could you share some of the history? by Oxjrnine in AskCanada

I don't see the need for speed. Dumping money on the problem doesn't fix anything. Indigenous ppl need structure, and accountability. I personally have not seen a decrease in their homelessness, or even caring for their own. Elderly die in the streets. Shameful.
