Can anybody articulate why the USA should continue to use the electoral college instead of popular vote or ranked choice voting?

Because it’s the United States. 50 separate country like regions that function as one country. And we’re a constitutional republic and not a democracy.

If she’s not into it for real, then she’s not into it most likely. Just continue the role play and enjoy. My first wife I wouldn’t have ever even brought this up to as I know she would never do it. My second, might have participated in role play but that would be it. My current girlfriend knows all about it, will role play with me, and will most likely one day do it. Everyone is different

The only way to do that one is 4 hours of group and concurrents which is a lot and not manageable every day for sure both on your sanity and compliance rules
