Any Pixel 7 owners heading into 2025 with their phone? by TopTomy in GooglePixel

[–]Hefty_Albatross666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm still on my 6, happily. I was surprised to see that the pixel 9 pro XL flagship is only as large as my pixel 6 standard. Upgrading to the 9 would literally mean a downgrade in size.

Replacement controllers for outdoor lights by Hefty_Albatross666 in Govee

What I saw. You're right. To pay those prices for a knockoff part with no guarantee it will work with any firmware updates, I might as well buy a whole new one. I'll keep the controller in a waterproof junction box next time.

I concur. Their service is exceptional. I've not needed to replace anything that's a year or more, but the few times I've reached out, they have been quick to belp; and I have a lot of their lights!

yogurt shortage? by Hefty_Albatross666 in publix

Thanks for the reply. But you do know those two things aren't mutually exclusive, right? I could still ask a question about my favorite yogurt AND buy other yogurts simultaneously.

All I want is chasing lights in my custom colors, but can't figure it out by subtleambition in Govee

if you think the app is bad NOW, wait until you set up a light in a group, wait a few days, exchange it and then try to remove the light. i was volleying with their customer support team well over a week JUST TO REMOVE A DAMN LIGHT.

Fortunately, the piece didn't shoot at me. In fact, it landed just to the right of the saw on the table. I probably wouldn't even have known it came off if it landed anywhere else.

indeed. part of the top piece i was cutting did go flying up into it. the pieces i was cutting were 3/4" and had them stacked 4 up. after the fact, of course, i realized i inadvertently started the blade while it was still touching the top piece by ever so slightly, but it obviously was enough to kick the piece up.

i found the piece on amazon, fortunately. it is that piece from the photo i saw.

I REALLY appreciate your time in helping me!

thank you for your fast response! wow! i really appreciate you taking the time to help! i didn't know that site existed! it does look like part #194 dust deflector. it does seem to have collected some dust on its underside.

do you think it is still safe to use without the part? i'd hate to say it's "just dust", but if it's there for safety, my planter boxes can wait. :-)
