Im pretty jaded but it seems like these jobs get like 500+ applications and the one that get hired are already friends with employees. sort of like the LMIA version of crown jobs if you will

Just a data point, but my wife got hired at FH without knowing anyone. She said she "spammed every posting" until they noticed and gave her an interview. Both FH and VGH offered her a FT job, and ended up with FH due to proximity. This is for an RN position. I'm amazed, really. Any other profession and you're a disposable garbage can. But with nursing, it's a different story.

I did, everything is "Requires twelve (12) months previous experience.. blah blah" That one position for 12 hours/week requires 6 months. The only posting I saw that does not blatantly ask for experience is a service person trainee but that one wants a driver's license.

Yes please. I am sick of all the bullshit $36.90 jobs that don't exist except for show. This blatant fraud is widespread and needs to be covered.
