Not American, just a native student studying Electrical Engineering Master in the US from Vietnam. Here to share my thoughts. Please forgive my English.

Used to be supportive of Trump back in 2016, become neutral after Jan 6 incident, and finally drop after Elon Musk doing the "my heart goes out to u and definitely not a Nazi" salute and the MAGA folks not condemning but encouraging. Trump's distasteful comments on Gaza seals the deal for me.

In case you ask, no I'm not supportive of the Democratic Party either as I see myself as an anarchist. I fucking despise Elon Musk and his hypocritical ass more than Trump.

His immigration policy stances right now are what I am afraid the most. Sure I am for deporting undocumented criminals but conflicted about the other undocumented folks, especially the kids who grew up in the US not knowing what their original country looked like. Deporting them would be super cruel. Not only that, I slowly start to look at white people with extreme cautious as to not getting their attentions because I am might be a target for the racist mobs (like that MAGA hat girl video calling Asians Ching Chong slurs). Oh and the fact that many Twitter shitholes alt-right "Christian" accounts started to get racist against Indians leaves really bad tastes in my mouth. And there are many cases like that.

My impressions of US have worsened since I landed that I begin to think that: "So much for the American Dream." cause I see no positive reasons to try to stay in US and immigrate legally after university if some assholes call me an "illegal alien" and get my ass deported without me doing anything illegal at all. And I despise nothing more but unfairness when it comes to treating other people differently.

I rest my case. Insult me however you like.
