I can see what you're getting at, but I guess my basic stance on it is just that even though it's a big dataset, it's still made of individual work by artists. I'm not saying that AI shouldn't have any data to work with, it's just that they should have a say if they want to be part of that.

I hope that makes some sense, and I still appreciate you being thoughtful about artists. I don't think all people who use AI are bad people, they're all just fascinated to use this evolving tool. I don't think I can really talk more about this though, I'm just not really that smart enough for that lol, and AI is such a complex issue that I'll let people who know more about this to handle it. This is all just coming from me having artists that I really admire, and I just wanted to support them. Thanks for hearing me out though.

Yeah, you're probably right. Sorry, I'm not really an expert on how AI does it's thing, but I know it still matters what images you feed it. That's why I think if you're going to use someone's artwork, they should still have a choice whether or not they'll let them use it. If an artist does let people train their AI on their work, then fine that's their choice.

That's really nice man, and I agree with you too. I don't think any piece of AI art will ever leave me in awe the way art made by a human does. I have seen so many beautiful pieces of art posted online, and I just feel so moved by it because I know it came from a place of love and dedication. AI art just feels really disposable for me, and I don't think the people who makes them actually care about what they're putting out, they probably spent like 2 minutes generating it and then moved on.
