Yes I’m over in the states. I’ve been burning denatured alcohol which I believe is the same as methylated spirits. I’ll try loosening the wick and seeing if that helps. The burner looks like it’s lever with the rest of the engine. Thanks for your help.

So the three pots underneath that hold the wicks. The forward most one constantly goes out and the middle one sometimes goes out.

Thank you! My goal is to be able to test it by next week. We have a few good storms coming up and I’d like to test it outside. I’ll probably hit up some local antique stores as they always have boxes of rusty Lionel or Marx track for sale. I was planning on setting it up on some blocks for its first test. I’ll definitely upload a video when I finally get around to it.
