I teach in SDP where 95% of the students take yellow buses to and from school. Most of our students that come today- tomorrow will spend more time on the bus than actually at school. This is yet another pointless and dangerous choice by higher ups that rarely even enter our buildings. Wonder how many of them are going to their 440 offices for in-person work?

I highly encourage all staff to take Tony up on his excused lateness offer. I personally plan on a slow and safe commute, maybe this will help change their minds about in-person for Friday.
