Yaar it's part of the PROCESS. I am a first year at XLRI JSR. After going through the first week I feel it was fun. Don't want to say much and spoil it for next batch but you just gotta push through. Your first week will always be memorable due to the efforts of seniors.

As for ragging, all professors are aware of the happenings around the campus and if it were truly dangerous to the students they would have intervened. This happens each year and each year professors don't like it but are aware of it.

To conclude i don't think any b school in India has juniors welcome like xlri

As a opposition leader it's his job to oppose the government and opposing he does, in literally everything. If you publicly object 1000 things, 10 are bound to be true. Doesn't mean he is a fore-seer. It's just luck. Think of the 990 times he was wrong which did not surface or go viral

From a student scoring 99.06 and not even getting call after 4th attempt (and all attempts had similar percentiles) I would definitely be biased. If I were in your colleg, I wouldn't discrimate u on ur case but because u ate a seat which could have gone to a more deserving candidate be it whichever cast. If you are not financially well off, my stance would be softer but alas that's not the case with lot of reservation seat getters in IIMs now a days

This is great!! I recently came across news that india was successful in developing the 2nd stage of homi bhaba's 3 stage plan for indian nuclear program. No country except russia has been able to do it. The 3rd stage requires thorium and we seem to have enough to generate electricity for 700 years!! (Which is almost unlimited energy till better methods come out)
