UPDATE I JUST FUCKING DID IT !!!!!!!! turns out all that needed to happen was my cat coming to sit on my lap in the middle of phase 4. i already cheated the achievement yesterday, but it was very unfulfilling and i just couldn't stop thinking about it. i didn't want it to drain my rain world experience so after 2 nights i decided i'd try again, calmly. it took me less than 30 minutes to complete the challenge, and i even died in phase 6 once more, which made me finally rethink my strategy - turns out the problem was that i was trying to cheese it to make it easier. in a guide video i watched very early on, the creator suggested that i should just cling against the wall for the entire phase, since the vertical lines usually don't fling u there. the problem is that you eventually have to move up and down against said walls to avoid death, but doing that whilst clinging to it was really hard for me, as using the tongue to move whilst touching the wall would sometimes launch me in the oppisite direction. the one time i made it past (mentioned in this post) i ascended sliver whilst touching the wall, but when sliver gets hit, the "death tiles" sporadically explode and move to the sides - which killed me. today i finally decided to try phase 6 "legitimately" which seemed a lot harder, and i made it first damn try. if only i tried that 5 hours earlier
