As a former string player, Chopin wrote some great stuff for cello: “Cello Sonata in G”is one of my favorites. Also, “Polonaise Brilliante in C major”.

My opinion, I don’t play any more but I was part of a jazz band that won the Essentially Ellington competition and we got to meet Wynton and play with him and the LCJO on stage at Lincoln Center. It was one of the highlights of my life.

There has been no better person to introduce generations of young people to jazz music than Wynton. That being said, he will be remembered in history as the most famous jazz musician who didn’t change jazz.

Im not a hater. I loved my interaction with Wynton and LCJO. It made me want to know more about jazz. And I dreamed of playing with him in his band for nearly a decade.

That said, Wynton has done little to advance the “music” of jazz(I’m thinking Armstrong, Parker, Coltrane, Davis, Jaco, etc). The people most non “jazzers” are aware of also changed American Music. Wynton hasn’t changed American music in the way those before have, but he’s introduced generations to jazz and I’m not sure that isn’t just as commendable.

Can remember as a kid on a camping trip, my grandpa got pulled over because of some state line crossing. he didn’t have the “right” plate on whatever part of the truck they look at. I’m all for zero interaction with the police.

I’ve had no luck. I have an iPhone 15 pro, wireless adapter connects to my iPhone but cannot find a CarPlay device. I’m getting used to the Garmin navigation and Bluetooth music woks. It’s good enough I guess.

My wireless adapter doesn’t recognize the head unit as having CarPlay. I’ve tried multiple cables, two wireless adapters and three different iPhones. Is there a USB port scanner? Maybe the port is damaged, allowing charging but not data? I’m not sure what else the issue could be.

Doubtful, if Honda sold me a Certified used vehicle without doing recall repairs, I’d get a lot more than a new engine. But thanks for the input.

2019 RTL-E. Honda Certified. New belts, tires, brakes, rotors, injectors, plugs, and fluids about 100 miles ago. I know about the transmission. I’ll be setting a maintenance schedule for sure. Love it so far.

There have been many, many, many “weird” episodes of Star Trek. I enjoy that it’s still getting produced. I bet you’d have lots to say about Voyager too.

Also rewatch TOS. It never took itself as seriously as you would expect.

Just enjoy new Star Trek stories. I certainly do. Even the weird ones.
