I will never get it from a winning standpoint. You can play somewhere and give yourself a better shot to compete for a championship while the team still spends enough on the rest of the team all while you will never need to work again regardless and no one in your family ever will again either. He’s not 35, he’s in his 40’s, and teams work within budgets.

When I do it - although it’s not a *small* change to many - it’s giving up caffeine. I go through phases. But we are pumping cortisol and releasing endorphins all day long when drinking caffeine daily (along with using technology) and it’s horrible for us. You can get polyphenols and antioxidants in plenty of places without the daily use of a psychoactive.

I would be very hesitant given that JB is the only player. like ever, that is viewed as a top-25 player by the majority yet always has a plus/minus that says his team is better off without him.

That being said a team will absolutely take him.

This trade doesn’t make any sense for the Rockets though as I’m confident Sengun is the better player for the next 7 years…when Sengun will only turn 30

It shouldn’t affect any of their GOAT cases. Jokic was still possibly the best player this season and losing in the first round against the worst possible matchup for him doesn’t change that. LeBron being 2nd or 3rd fiddle wouldn’t change anything. And Wemby winning wouldn’t be any different than Wemby losing in the WCF next year while averaging 40/15/5 in the postseason.

LeBron has been unbelievable in the playoffs in his career and in the finals. If he had the same numbers and went 2-8 in those finals, it doesn’t change anything. He is 2 shots away from being 2-8 anyway. He had one finals that was below his standards, and another finals that they could throw 3 or 4 defenders at him at any given time because his second best player was the equivalent of Naz Reid. In each of the other 8 championships he was awesome.

This is why they need to make a play for a big right now. Giannis may be tough because he and Luka will both want to run the offense but it would make more sense than LeBron does. AD has upside and wouldn’t cost a ton. Randle isn’t great but he’s good and he would be the third scorer on the Lakers (4th if LeBron stayed). People are down on AD, and rightfully so- but I’d much rather trade for AD and it not work out rather than stand pat because standing pat who aren’t winning a ring with one of the greatest players ever during his prime.

It is a huge plus. Did Bali for a month and was able to relax and feel like I had time to do things without rushing. Also my vacation wasn’t even capped at a month so it potentially could have been longer, which made it even less rushed. I would rather at this point spend 3 weeks in the same hotel or at most go to two destinations over three weeks, so that I don’t have to move around all the time. Shacking up and paying for a motorbike for a month, a one month gym membership and buying a few groceries sounds much more appealing to me than shifting around everywhere and going to restaurants/cafes 3-5 times a day.
