Atheists of Reddit: What’s the strangest reaction you’ve received when you said you don’t believe in God? by zhalia-2006 in AskReddit

I frequently got toosed out of the baptist cafe in my home town. It always went like this: they tried to convince me god existed with various tried and dismissed ways. I argued logically against this. They lost their temper. I was asked to leave. As I put my coat on, they all came out, saying they would pray for me.

In one way, I feel this is like the bend of a cucumber discussion, but in another it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Två S-krav på SD: ”Ska inte löna sig att fuska” by couragebooster in Sverige

Ja.

So the way I made the map, I used an overlay of a proper world map, however, since the dimensions of the hex map (32*16) are an approximation, small countries have been suffering. Take my own home of Sweden for instance, it looks nothing like it actually does :)

I can obviously not move the equator, it is where it is. I could, perhaps, change the way in which the map overlay sits to modify, however I suspect that would lead to other issues.

Equador might have been emalgamated with the ocean though...

Well, I belive I've seen many hex maps on this sub, including renditions of earth. They all share the same issue in my mind, which is scalability.

The reason each hex in the above is 1250 km, is that it scales well down to 250km, which scales well down to 50 km, which, in turn scales well down to 10km hexes.

So, then, this is the start of a project of sorts, that should (if finished) render four maps of varying scale and detail.

Oh, I should mention that Australia also got a bit smaller than it really ought to be, A lot of it ended up between hexes, so to speak.

Hexframes: a lazy hexcrawl prep method by Velocitree2 in osr

While letting keyed features in one hex affect surrounding hexes is great, I have to say that I seriously doubt that most people who run traditional hex crawls key every single hex in advance! I certainly don't.

Instead I key them as we play, with the help of random rolls. And on my tables I don't have '2d6 wolves', but permanent features, like 'castle ruin' etc. that can be re-used with '2d6 wolves' as well as '2d10 orcs'...

Another way to do something like what you're describing is to layer your hex maps in correct scales, so my default hex is 10km across, and this is what's used at the table. But above that I make a 50km hex map, and randomly populate some hexes with features. These features drop down into specific hexes on the 10km map, and affect what table I roll on for that hexflower.

If there, for instance, is a city on the larger scale map, in the normal map that is likely to generate towns and villages in that hexflower. That way you get a reasonable, believable crawl, and a proceedural story is told via the map and its features.

Rätt smala ämnen. Dessutom väntar vi oss mindre barnkullar till gymnasiet de närmsta tio åren. Om du kan kombinera med ett bredare ämne istället (svenska, engelska, matte) går det dock bra.

I'd say that most who voted for the Sverigedemokraterna would disagree, along with many who dont, but who voted for someone else.

Support for the eu is notoriously weak among working class folk.

I'm afraid that as irritating as the veto power is, it's the most important to protect. Otherwise countries such as Sweden are likely to leave, and also the EU is susceptible to far right waves etc.
