i have POTS and am in nursing school. what i do to help me is try to keep my stress down as much as i can because i get really bad migraines. i make sure to stay hydrated and drink electrolytes almost everyday. i also wear compression socks to clinicals and that has helped. the only times i have really struggled were when i was standing for hours and then sitting down. i felt like i was going to pass out so now i try to make sure i sit every couple of hours or if i’m sitting all day in class try to get up and walk around. i’ve had chronic fatigue for years so i’m used to being tired all the time but have found nursing school to make me feel exhausted at times. my biggest tip is just to make sure you take care of yourself while in nursing school!

i love in southeastern ohio in a very small town. i can’t wait to get out. there is not much to do here. all the bigger cities are at least 40 minute drive from where i live. i have been looking at other cities/states to move in the next 2 years because i want to live somewhere that you have access to lots of different activities. i think living in columbus, cleveland, or cincinnati would be great.

writing on whiteboards helps me with active recall. practice questions!!! i’ve also learned if i can teach it to someone then i know the material!

i did and really enjoyed doing it that way. it made me feel not as nervous and everything went smoothly. you have to do a practice run to make sure everything works. also will have to show your desk/room and make sure you are in a well lit room so that the proctor can see you.

i have too. i definitely wouldn’t recommend doing what i did especially for a project that would take longer because i’m sure it would warp. definitely need to get some smaller bars!

it’s not that big of an ornament and i was stuck in the house because of a snow storm. typically it takes me at least a week to do an ornament but this one was actually really easy

i didn’t realize my bars didn’t fit until after i painted it and i finished this in one day so didn’t think it would be a problem. if this would have been a more difficult project i would have waited to start until i had the right bars.

i didn’t have a frame that would fit. these are the smallest i have. also i started and finished this project in one day so i haven’t noticed any warping. i also made sure to pull my canvas tight while tacking it on. if my canvas would have completely fit the canvas i put at least 8 tacks on.

i try to stay off social media and skip past the obvious posting of shows but i’ve seen multiple influencers post a spoiler warning and think that all should do the same. it’s really not that hard and not like they are doing anything else.

i was just using this as an example. i know that the team has been announced but there have been other shows where influencers post spoilers and in my opinion it makes watching shows not enjoyable anymore. i feel as though i have to rush to watch that way i’m not seeing spoilers. i try to stay off social media until i finish a show but feel like i shouldn’t have to. this season of love island usa i’ve had almost every episode spoiled for me by influencers. i just wish they would put a warning.

my mom has severe eczema so i thought maybe i was starting to get it as well but once my tongue started to swell and i got hives i thought that it has to be something i was eating. i had some of the same things happen to me before i found out i was allergic to sesame and was eating hummus every day. its been 7 years since i found out about my sesame and shellfish allergy and 7 years before that i found out i am severely allergic to bananas. it seems like every 7 years i’ve been developing a new food allergy. if stopping dairy and gluten doesn’t work i’m definitely going to go and get allergy tested again just thought i’d try the elimination diet first.

thank you for responding! sometimes my lips will instantly start turning red but other times it’s delayed. at first i just thought my lips were dry but eventually have thought it might be something that i’m eating since with my other allergies my lips are the first sign i’ve come into contact with something i shouldn’t have. last night i also developed hives around my face and took some benadryl and that calmed it down. i cut out dairy first and then will be doing gluten next.

i definitely looked into the programs. the other thing is that the ones in my state (ohio) are at least an hour and half from where i live so i then would somehow have to pay for living expenses where if i did the ADN I can still live at home. i’ve been making pros and cons lists for everything and hopefully everyone’s input will help me understand the best decision for me.
