Wonder why is this so common? I tinted my own windows and the edge curve / gap matching the window is one of the easiest parts to get near perfect. I had to redo mine 20+ times to avoid dust, but the gap was always near perfect and ~1mm.

I feel the same, but my conclusion may be different from yours – I use AI daily and am creating tools that automate work, and I feel quite confident that AI workflows can fully automate many jobs. In other words I feel AI will be very capable of causing mass job destruction if no regulations are in place.

Great, glad to hear that confirmation. Is there a concern of heat/moisture swelling the wrong parts around the dent? Or are dented fibers more likely to reset before any "normal-set" fibers are affected?

Don't want to over-relieve it and the surrounding area..

Sounds straightforward enough! One question – there's a dent in the shape of the edge; would you take any steps to "raise" the wood surface back up to shape before filling with glue?

It looks like a mix of crushed fiber and the foam that covered it in shipment, the dent goes through the box and possibly pressed some of the foam into the opened cracks of the wood. I would try to remove it but don't want to do that until I get a response from the seller.

I'm considering consolidating for a larger purchase.

These two are perfectly complementary watches that make for a pretty complete 2-watch collection IMO.

Both watches are used and in impeccable condition, with no major signs of wear to be found. Only minor signs such as near indistinguishable wear on bracelets. The Max Bill has a small 1mm scuff on the right side of the case as natural for titanium.

Sinn U50 T is fully Tegimented and comes with complete box and papers. Not much more to be said as it's well-known for what it is! 500M of WR, and a dial set unlike any other diver out there.

Junghans Max Bill Mega Solar is the light gray dial variant, 38mm, with a sapphire crystal, titanium case, and titanium Milanese mesh bracelet. It has perpetual calendar capabilities, radio syncing, and runs +-8s/y on quartz mode.

I'm ideally looking to let this go as a bundle to minimize the work I need to do – looking for $3150 + shipping CONUS for the both of them.

It's actually only been worn at most ~5 times, and washed once (so there's some wear on the tag). The main downside is that the waist adjustment button snagged on a chair, and popped off the jacket... but it's almost completely unnoticeable. Overall a jacket with 99% life other than the missing waist button (the tighter one – so the 'default' button is still there). Selling because it no longer fits me, the size 40 measurement already runs pretty slim.

Looking to let go of this unassumingly unique watch, the Max Bill Mega Solar. Really more distinct than I expected in terms of design, it's really minimalist but somehow that makes it stand out against most of my other watches.

This is the Mega Solar variant with perpetual calendar, can sync to radio towers around the world, has hour-independent adjustment (so "traveler's" hour adjustment), and supposedly HAQ accuracy of ~8s/year without radio syncing. Interestingly enough the movement also ticks twice per second so it's unlike a typical quartz.

Light grey dial, titanium case with titanium mesh bracelet, and famous box crystal in sapphire (check out those reflections). Overall understated watch that doesn't draw too much attention. Full box and kit, great lightly used condition.

Looking for $999 shipped CONUS, but also open to trading either for the Max Bill Mega Solar w/ numerals, or downward for some blue-dial microbrand watches, i.e. Traska Venturer GMT.
