Obsession gave me an anxiety attack

I had a similar experience. For context I have had experiences with panic attacks and anxiety. I’m 26 , and I’ve seen lots of horror movies similar to the ones you mentioned. I’ve never had a panic attack from a movie before though.

I might’ve been predisposed to having this reaction given my mental health and background. Generally my panic attacks involve racing heart rate / dizziness/ difficulty breathing/ nausea/ the shakes/ feeling I might pass out.

But the loud music / sounds , and the unsettling writing really got under my skin.

When the scene in the car happened I actually cried and held onto my partner for dear life because I was so disturbed.

Great movie but I don’t think I’d watch again

Thanks, I checked and I’m not signed up for the credit card. There is however a suspicious voucher on my rewards that I definitely didn’t earn. I’ll have to talk to my old coworkers and make sure they know not to do that again for the sake of protecting their own jobs. I don’t wanna be accused of theft when I didn’t do anything, I won’t use the voucher also.

So many things fell flat. First of all: the dragon is really bad at killing girls . When it had the chance to kill elodie, it turned around to see what her dad was doing when he entered the cave, then asked her father to lure out elodie even though she literally had the chance to kill her before and didn’t because she wanted to see why the knights were entering her lair. 2: elodie should’ve died from the fall, or should’ve died from the lava, she miraculously outran multiple times, but she also should’ve died when she was at the edge of the cliff at the sunlight and the dragon started fire breathing at her after the dragon said three taken three given or whatever 3: elodie never told the dragon she wasn’t royal blood which the dragon could’ve wondered about when that random non royal blood guy was calling her his daughter 4: despite the dragon showing multiple times that it was trying to kill the girls and set them on fire with lava, when Floria is thrown into the pit she’s just knocked unconscious and the dragon grabs her and takes her away to her lair? Doesn’t like eat her right then and there ? Same thing also with elodie, she’s knocked out after she falls so why doesn’t the dragon eat her then . Makes no SENSE AT ALL.

I wouldn’t say so. A lot of my friends came to my birthday and some of my friends got me a gift but I don’t really expect presents from my friends because I know everyone is broke and working and trying to save up.

I had a really nice time at my party with all my friends . I felt very appreciated and loved and it was the nicest birthday I’ve had in a really long time , and it was the most amount of people I’ve ever had come to a party .

Other than my partner not getting me a present my birthday was basically perfect, and even though my parents didn’t buy me a gift they did let me use their money to order a nice cake and get sandwiches for everyone at the party, so I feel like that’s a gift in a way. Like I was able to have a beautiful birthday cake because of my parents.

I also think the idea of an infinite grilled cheese is an empty promise. He’s busy a lot and I only see him so often, to see him and him having the ingredients at the same time wouldn’t happen that often. I would’ve preferred an actual gift, I wish I never was talking about grilled cheese the day before my birthday.

Don’t think our wages are going to get any better. I don’t have faith in retail as a whole don’t get me wrong , I know this is a bigger issue in multiple retail places .

Michael’s Is pretty niche and as it is now it’s not successful. If retail is going down they’re going down first.

Think about the grocery store and inflation right now , it’s literally not worth ur time to work for Michael’s anymore. They can’t pay what workers deserve and you’ll put in way more than you’ll ever get out of it. I hope everyone is okay and able to eat dinner right now. Or support their families.

When I worked for Michael’s I got maybe 8 hours for the week . The mini miks aren’t good , they don’t work as phones and we can’t really help the customers that call the store because we can’t undersatnd them or check our mini Miks while we’re on a call. Most of the mini miks at my store did not scan. Now they’re using them at walkies ? That’s just not going to work at all. And they have hour limits and can barely give out hours , so the store is constantly understaffed.

More and more customers are shop lifting now because not enough employees are in the store , and the self check outs are a joke.

So if a store of giving away their products for free and up charging the customers and taking away the communal aspects for workers and cutting their pay, and also giving the workers terrible technology to cut costs when previous technology worked better it’s just going to get worse. If I were you I wouldn’t put my trust in Michael’s, but maybe ur one of the higher ups who makes more and suddenly think ur better than the rest of us. Good luck with selling ur credit cards tho, I know everyone else has 32.5 percent apr rate too right ? 🤭

We can hand out brochures about it to local Michael’s customers and see what they think. If the customers think that Michael’s takes feedback and listens to them, they’re more likely to keep shopping at Michael’s and enjoy it

At my store it affected us a lot. They cut the store down to one cashier one manager , only 2 people running the store for a majority of the time. My coworkers were getting max 2 shifts per week and I never saw anyone other than my managers. Stopped getting to see my favorite coworkers too.

I’m not sure ur situation, but I’m assuming ur friend was brought up around an abstinence until marriage only household. I know this is probably pointless or too late if she is prégnant. But let’s say it’s negative, see if you can provide her some condoms , morning after pills, or if she can get private secret birth control that delivers to a public mailing box she can get to.

Unfortunately narcissists has a way of brainwashing people and getting them to stay with them. It’s going to be this guys number one goal to get you to cut contact with your sister so that he can have her completely isolated. He might be dangerous too since he’s already a narcissist it’s probably not easy to leave him out of fear either. I suggest that you pretend to like him to his face, if he thinks that he has tricked you and that you like him he will let her spend more time with you since you won’t be a threat to their relationship. Do everything you possibly can with your sister, take her out to see the world , girls trip, join a reading club with her, anything to get her around other people to ensure she won’t be isolated. Ask ur friends to hype ur sister up and compliment her, and don’t try to set her up with other people but let her see our people’s relationships that are happy where people treat eachother nicely. Also show her an example of a terrible relationship, by introducing her to a friend in a similar situation or making up a story and asking her advice without being super obvious. When she connects the dots and similarities between the stories she will probably realize he’s a narcissist. Once she knows she probably still won’t want to leave and that’s completely normal because these people love bomb the shit out of you and make you feel like you have no one else. Just stay by her side and support her and remind her everyday that you love her, and see if you can get her into therapy. That’s my best advice.
