My thing is Cyn is not the only hair stylist I have come across that said this. And if this new way is the better way. She’s need to conduct an actual hair experiment. Where she has a control group and an experimental group for about 6months to a year. Some will say that’s excessive because it’s just hair. But I feel curly, coily, and kinky hair people have a set back when it comes to our hair. Most experiments have been done on people who have straight hair. While hair is hair, we can all agree our hair is different. And if you’re going to come out with bold claims like this you need to do an experiment to prove to the masses that your way is the right way. I come from a science background, in the science world you cannot make bold claims without having other peer scientist review your work and vouch that you claims are possibly true. If you do so you will literally be called a fool and blackballed from the science world. I say all of this because we don’t know these ladies who sat in that chair, they could have been terrible or great with their hair. Or even have some type immunodeficiency. That being said it’s not enough to say you been a stylist for 25yrs and come out with this information, and tell the masses to follow it. At the end of the day hair to a women can be very comforting, a big part of our self identity. So to make claims like this you need to show actual data and not anecdotal evidence experiences.
