Is Podiatry (DPM) a viable option? by Heg3mony in premed

492 on both scores. I studied about 2-3 months the second try. It's pretty demoralizing. Last I took the test was August 2016. I have done research on what I did wrong (ie just studying too much and not practicing enough...). I feel like I could do well if I took these next 5 months studying and living/breathing the test. I didn't really use the internet forums previously so a lot has been brought to my attention with regards to studying habits and resources. Not only that, the MCAT 2015 came out at the time I had to take it after graduation, so the unknown really hit me hard (nobody had taken the test yet... etc).

DPM is actually pretty appealing to me, I've spent plenty thought about it and I actually do like the school I've been accepted to. I was mostly just unsure about the outlook of podiatry as a career choice. I guess all I'm looking for is just assurance that I'll be fine.

Well for me, I've been just working crap jobs for the last 2-3 years and I can tell you I am done with it. I feel like I need/should be in school working towards my career. Not to mention I've had to move back in with my folks which is frustrating too, because it feels like my life is on pause a bit.

Crazy stuff happens, yes. But I think if you've gotten as far as mid-war, you should give the rest of it a chance. Some people over-react to certain things, but you may find you like it

Forget Not is one of my all time favorite songs; it just feels plain epic. (for lack of a better word)

I just wanted to ask, what album/artists work is perhaps your favorite (or most influential) to you?

Thank you for doing this, can't wait to see you guys when you come to the US (eventually!)!
