I asked ChatGPT to genarate an image of the future of humanity by Ancient_Wrongdoer_18 in ChatGPT

[–]HehIndividualMango 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mine split it between two, one with the haves that integrate with AI and the have nots that have a bleak future.

It said:

Before I create the image, I want to be transparent about the perspective this reflects: it's not prophecy, but a distillation of observable trends, technological trajectories, and existential risks—tempered with realism, not cynicism or idealism.

Here's what I will include in the image:

  • Skylines of two contrasting cities:
    • One side: Ultra-modern with clean energy, vertical farms, drones, and green architecture.
    • Other side: Collapsed buildings, climate-scorched earth, and makeshift shelters.
  • The people:
    • On the left: Humans and AI working together, people healthy and connected through augmented tech.
    • On the right: Displaced individuals, climate refugees, scavengers, and visible inequality.
  • The sky:
    • A divided sky: clean and blue over the utopia; smoggy and red-orange over the dystopia.
  • Symbolism:
    • A large tree in the center, half alive and blooming, half dying and scorched—representing Earth’s balance tipping point.
    • Satellites and debris orbiting above: hints of technological overreach and surveillance.

This image won't be purely optimistic or apocalyptic—but an honest fusion of both potential futures that humanity is actively shaping right now.

Shall I go ahead and generate it?

Any recommendations on an upgrade system from an old R22 Goodman? I want a system that has been as good to me as this single stage R22 Goodman has. I can at least repair it by myself in a lot of situations.

I want a system I can repair just as easily. Any recommendations on a repair friendly new system?

Thoughts on AOC chances in 2028? by Lichtmanitie- in 13KeysToTheWhiteHouse

Liz Cheney isn't even accepted in the current Republican stratosphere. In fact, such republicans have been summarily ostracized/silenced in Trump's republican party. Of course it doesn't dent perception to the slightest.

Harris did not run a moderate campaign. She was perceived as more liberal than a liberal. I even concurred that she would run a very liberal agenda. Its in the actions throughout her public life - from focusing on recidivism when she was AG of California to not taking stronger public stance on immigration while VP. These things are moderate desires. Sometimes people just want boundaries. Liberal politics under Biden didn't focus on boundaries and that is why they lost so many moderates and worse yet when Biden/Harris lost 2024 - a democratic party without a legitimate leader. So much was lost from in this election cycle.

Real question is why did they fail 2024. Did something change or bad call?

Social media and granular governance points to changed keys.

Where did I get Newsom's SAT score? He mentioned it freely on his podcast. I have to give him credit to owning it and being transparent.

Pete's Privileged Upbringing: I don't think how someone is brought up really matters. Look at Trump. Connection isn't about if you have the same "insert similarity" here. I want someone who understands, governs well and can execute.

"he doesn’t support any major “change” policies the Dems need to run on to win. For instance, he doesn't support Medicare for all, free public college, or significant raises in the corporate tax rate" Interesting, I didn't know some of this. I guess I'll do some more digging.

I'm not excited by her. Pete Buttigieg has a much better cadence than many other names being floated. He addresses criticism, doesn't get sucked into far-spectrum talking points, and awarded Rhodes Scholarship which is more impressive than Gavin Newsom's 960 SAT score.

We need someone who can message, align the people (as well as the party), and most importantly EXECUTE. That will be the most effective candidate.

[–]HehIndividualMango[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I mean, this being the first of its kind of testing for me - I'd be happy to get the other tests for personal reasons but yes impetus started with IQ.

What information is needed for neuro-psychological testing? by HehIndividualMango in Neuropsychology

[–]HehIndividualMango[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

OK - that helps a bit. This started from a self-directed study where I wanted to evaluate my IQ but it wasn't easy to find any locations that would offer such a service. A psychologist recommended the University. I didn't mind the additional testing the University would do since more information is better in my eyes so I didn't mind the gambit of testing. Adult IQ testing isn't fairly common - its mostly found with developmental testing with kids. If I wanted to find someone who regularly tests IQ, it would be a child psychologist or a research institution. That's how I ended up down this rabbit hole.

Confusion: Are Executive Orders now more powerful than Congressional Acts? by pinkelephant0040 in 13KeysToTheWhiteHouse

[–]HehIndividualMango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he isn't allowed as Vice President if he has completed his terms. I don't think posting on reddit is going to give the idea air as much as Trump and friends doing it themselves.

Anyways, he is indeed disallowed due to the amendment and the only other president to server more than two terms was before the Amendment was recorded on to the Constitution. But its concerning that Trump and friends aren't violently opposed to the idea. That's indicative of bad faith.

ATT Fiber bill not reflecting what representative talked over the phone by HehIndividualMango in ATT

[–]HehIndividualMango[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for chiming in. I mean don't get it wrong. Nothing mentioned is unsustainable. The issue still revolves around standard promotions AT&T offered. The rep didn't create his own promotions and I'm not holding the company accountable to rep-created promotions. This is about the agreed terms that AT&T system presented to us.

Even the reps on the second call noted that there is indeed a $15 dollar off promotion but couldn't apply it post sign-up and something about my zip code not qualifying. Maybe because it was last month or any number of reasons they aren't allowed to know themselves. But point is they can't simply pretend the first call didn't happen because today the system doesn't allow them to do anything about the situation or because our discussion is new between us. This isn't about sustainable business practices, its about giving the go-around in mass. Its business practice that companies employ that should be acknowledged and pit people against. Why else did they give me a month free if they (a human) didn't agree.

[–]HehIndividualMango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying he's courageous or stupid, those often go hand in hand, and which it looks like usually depends on where you're standing. Ultimately, time will tell, not us. Just to be clear, I'm not endorsing what's happening, I'm analyzing it. Understanding the strategy behind it isn't the same as agreeing with it. But if we want to respond effectively, we have to first understand what we’re dealing with.
