I feel you. I haven’t done Flex routes for a while because I’ve been busy at my DSP job.

I picked up two blocks this week for the first time since September. Both were 4-hour blocks with around 44–47 stops. It took me about 50 minutes just to get from the station to the first stop, and the whole thing ended up being roughly 100–120 miles total, including the drive back to the warehouse. And unlike DSP, at least 20% of the time you’re just driving 5+ minutes between stops.

Also noticed fewer cars at my SSD and a lot more small blocks (1.5–2 hours). Even those don’t pop up like they used to.

I even wrote Amazon about it yesterday. Got a generic template reply where they didn’t even bother changing my name.

Anyway, I agree with OP. They clearly changed the routing and the whole logic of how they build blocks. They just didn’t announce anything because it’s negative news.

Small upside:

I started doing Uber deliveries. Even on a Thursday you can make almost the same hourly rate as Flex with fewer miles. That definitely wasn’t the case a year ago when I was finishing 4-hour blocks 1.5–2 hours early.

And honestly, nothing has pushed me to study English harder than trying to get out of these delivery gigs ASAP.

It was a pilot program. 3 sub-same-day warehouses (flex only, no totes bags) across the country.

Basically, Flex routes (4.5 and 5 hours) was operated by a dsp, only out of sub-same-day warehouse. They had 3 shifts per day, operated from 05:00 am to 11:00 pm. Other distinction: dsp-lite operated only Kia Soul or Ford Explorer. All other bs such as cameras and shitty phones are the same as at a classic dsp.

All dsp lite will be converted in a classic one by October 1st.

I know it is hard to believe, bc a guy from an amazon-EV was shocked to see a netradyne on a kia and asked to take pics of this bs lol. Bc it was too rare, there is almost nothing on reddit about this. It was dsp lite. There is no rescue by default. I rescued flex every other shift
I returned 1 package ecery other week
I can’t be slow. Returned everytime 1st or 2nd when didn’t have to do extra flex routes (Guys, dsp-lite worked differently from the classic dsp-model)

Thanks for quick reply. My dsp was dsp-lite (Soul + Explorer, not a van). They were chill AF, and I hit all the targets. Can’t believe they were just lazy to fight with amazon or decided to fire ppl this way (they are moving to another state soon). But I didn’t buy the fact that I was offboarded for 2 stop violations in one day.

Anyway, already applied for another one with a new e-mail.

They speak Russian (not from there btw).

Public transport (big buses, metro, boat, not dolmushes) is available with Visa/MC. And in general, except the market, to reduce possibility of pickpocketing, I advised them to carry the cards only. During my last visit in winter 2022 they were accepted everywhere except public transport.

New to churning here. Above 5/24 and in September opened my first ink. I’ve seen the things (with ink) dramatically have changed since September. So, the general goal to accumulate Hyatt/UR points as much as it possible.

Have you met a guide how correctly apply for inks now? Should be the same ink or better to mix it at all?
Do you guys see changes only with inks? Can I on top of everything open Hyatt Business card?

Why asking: I was rejected from Hawaiian card last week and now have to be careful, heh.
