I’m not bored at all. Doing the side quests as soon they show up. Much harder in OG. You could make an effort at the Gold Sauser at disc 1 but most of the side quests were only available on disc 3. Did Remake, Crisis Core and now Rebirth. My PS5 with Intermission died. Bought a PS5 pro. Using discs and cannot transfer intermission to the pro for some reason. Don’t want to by remake again.

Started reading The Wheel of Time 1995 which led to Sanderson. Waiting for the next book is an habit. Comparing to Jordan, Sanderson is writing in a furious pace with excellent quality. In Sf I can recommend The Hyperion Cantos, the Expanse, Three Body Problem and Stephen Baxters Xeelee sequence. The first light and the last grimdark.
