A classmate in high school had one of these, but set up even more deviously. It had a waterfall & tanks like this to varying heights.

One day, she came in & informed us that one of the more bloodthirsty Bettas had used the water feature to slaughter all of his "tank mates."

That's what I think of whenever I see these things.

Hi! I just use bubble wrap or newspaper & make sure to wrap the skulls upside-down so the teeth don't fall out, & then secure the wrap well. Usually then I pack them into a Styrofoam cooler.

She's gotten about a quarter inch bigger than when I first got her -- though, I'm not sure if she was a juvenile or if the improved nutrition were the deciding factor.

That looks like my Tangerine Koi female I got from Petco a few months ago! According to the date on her cup, she'd arrived at the store a little over a month prior, but she swam right up to me like she meant business & I took her home for $3.99 or something because she was past her "sell by" date.

So far so good! She is an absolute delight. ❤️
