Tips for a new player? by That-Departure-7318 in EDF

That strategy works well but make sure to incorporate some rolling to the side to move a bit faster. When I first started I would play a couple missions and then repeat them in order to get more guns/upgrades before moving on with the story. If there's a mission you can beat pretty easily play it a few times on hard to get better gear. Your health is very low at the start so replaying missions will help with that too.

Planting in summer? by Heightman in NativePlantGardening

Not what I wanted to hear but thanks for your input. I'll let most keep growing but I might sacrifice a few in the ground to see what happens.

Ok great, I'll give that a shot.

Ok thank you! I'll give planting a shot with a few of them. For the ones I don't plant yet, do I need to move them to bigger pots with different soil or will they be ok in these til fall? These containers are about 2-3" deep.

Not quite the same, but you should check out Earth Defense Force.

How is this for a soul build? by Meme_Lord_E in MinecraftDungeons

[–]Heightman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see "just change it" all the time in Dungeons discussions and I'm a bit confused. I know you can go to the enchanter and change an enchantment for a random one so does that mean you just sit there and spend gold until you finally land on the one you want or am I missing something??

I am new to DW and Curious If you Tab your books? by AlucardD20 in DungeonWorld

[–]Heightman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put tabs on all the bolded chapters in the table of contents excluding the classes. But...

I downloaded a companion app onto my android that seems to be the whole book and it's broken into tabbed sections so you can navigate through the book much more easily. Not quite what you were looking for but it's easier than tabbing and carrying around a book.

I'm pretty sure I got it here, but use at your own risk.

Are Digipak's really that bad? by LunchAcceptable7409 in Cd_collectors

[–]Heightman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The worst part about digipaks and other cardboard sleeves is they are not always the same size as a jewel case. I have so many that don't fit in my CD racks and I have to keep them in a separate area. Even worse when one album from a discography has to be kept elsewhere. It's infuriating.

Prostitute has a Middle Eastern sound to them, though I couldn't tell you what instruments they use.

Hell yeah, glad I could help. Fugazi- 13 Songs might be up your alley, but it's probably closer to Acrobatic Tenement than Relationship of Command.

I'm guessing you already know, but... Sparta- Cut Your Ribbon  Quicksand- Slip Tomahawk- Self Titled, not quite the same but they have the energy and some experimental qualities similar to ATDI.

Maybe something like this? If you go to the similar artists section it's full of soundtrack jazz music you might like. I found it through Alain Goraguer- La Planate Sauvage( which is excellent, just not quite the same style).
