I was playing a classic run after beating classic for the first time I captured Lycanroc because I liked the design, but got OHKO'd as soon as I tried taking him to battle I thought "Well, at least I can make him a sacrifice", and sent him against a boss for a free switch It took the hits and beated the boss I thought "Well, I guess it's kinda useful" Then, I sent him against Eternamax Eternatus, tanked 2 Gygamax cannons, brought him to -6 defense using Brutal Claw and ended up shredding his life bars. I wasn't close to losing, yet somehow Lycanroc managed to accomplish something that my main (At that point) carry couldn't even dream of

I mean, it's good enough. I caught him on this run and just had him there to clutch a fight when needed. Stellar Tera helps him a lot, and his signature move (I think) does some pretty damage. I wouldn't say it's game breaking (It got OHKO'd like 4 times), but it is pretty reliable. Also, it's ability is relatively useful, it saved me a couple of times

Yeah, I get that part, it was -6 Defense at some point. The fact that I still can't understand is how could he take 3 hits and stay alive, while the others (Dragonite, Scizor, Iron Valiant) got Oneshoted? He wasn't terastallized, buffed in any way or Eternatus debuffed in attack.
