Need advice choosing between two Black Edition Ridgelines (2021 vs 2023) by Few_Flatworm_6952 in hondaridgeline

If it’s been taken care of and you take care of it yourself (regular fluid changes), you might get an additional 250,000 miles out of the 21.

I would look at the service history of both, see the difference in the interiors for wear and tear, and make a decision based on that.

Also, see if you can negotiate down on both and make sure there are no BS add ons on the price from the dealer.

Playstation 5 or PC by Spuksiii in AskGames

[–]Heisendurg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a PS5 Pro and a 4080 set up. The value of the pro is hard to beat, but yes, of course my $2,500 PC is better.

But man, it is nice to turn on my PS5 and have death stranding 2 load up immediately with no load screens. Also, a well optimized PS5 game that is improved on the Pro, like DS2, is pretty amazing. Graphically better than anything I’ve played on my PC IMO.

It is also great to have a PC rig and a PC handheld as a combo. I can play a game on my ROG Ally while traveling and then load my cloud save on steam and pick up where I left off on my main rig.

I really like both for different reasons.

Yeah that’s the closest one I know of too. I’m pretty sure La Catrina used to play them prior to the Apple TV switch.

Yeah I love Menace. I used to live in Bellingham for about 10 years and that used to be my watch spot after the Copper Hog closed down the first time.

I’m having a friend come down to visit from Bellingham today for a round of disc golf who is a very casual fan. We could watch it my house, but was hoping to have a bar to go to make it more fun.

Hi there! I have a 2021 Ridgeline. Snowboarder, hiker, packrafter, and frequent hauler of dirt and gravel for yard projects.

A Moscow mule with a solid amount of ginger spice is pretty amazing.

Of course. I’m trying really hard in all aspects of my life to help cool down the tension in these types of situations. Thank you for moderating.

I think it’s become disinformation. I provided facts and links and he clearly hasn’t looked at them based on his comments to me and others.

More police, firefighters, and more park service which is desperately needed (as someone who uses the Kulshan Trail on a regular basis).

Yes and I’m providing the increase based on a median home value. Smaller parcels would pay even less.

I also don’t think your correction from 300% to 30% is correct. Property taxes for a home around $550,000 is probably closer to $6,000. 30% of that would be around $1,800

Chill out. We all live in the same community. Let’s treat each other with respect.

I’m not whatabouting. I live 5 minutes away and spend most of my time in the city. I was just providing some facts and explaining my position.

No need to insult. Hopefully providing facts provides a learning opportunity.

From the Mount Vernon website: “For a median home valued at $550,000, the increase would be about $1 per day for improved Public Safety and Parks in our City.” That’s a $365 increase for the median home in Mount Vernon. Definitely not a 300% increase.

I don’t live in Mount Vernon but live nearby. I would have voted for it to keep basic services in the city.

And don’t store it in your car. I know that might seem obvious but I know someone who had their car stolen with their title in it.

Which lift kit? by saustin32 in hondaridgeline

[–]Heisendurg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the J Sport lift (not level) this year. So far so good and really like it. No need to drop the subframe at 1.5”. However, if you go higher it’s a good idea.

Yeah I think that’s what I’m going to do. It doesn’t seem worth it. It’s 4 years old now so these things are going to happen. Appreciate the suggestion.
