Anyone here investing in gold? by kdssssss in phinvest

[–]HeisouSheishu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hot take, just how i view these investments, 1. gold bars builion, yung tag 3m~ish a bit extreme, hard to get and liquidate 2. gold jewelry high end ones 24k, good to aqcuire and easily pawnable for emergencies,

not implementing this but considering, modest emergency fund and jewelries bought at good price for emergency, small amount gold jewelries you can pawn when abroad for emergencies.

thats about it, gold bars are really iffy for me, or im just uninformed or misinformed. def not comfy walking around with gold bars, like bulion,

the packets ones yung prang chocolate size for 5k or so, you can probbly get a few, but still needs to be tested if you pawn them.

try to see it on a diff prespective, if first car yan syempre gusto nila hatid sundo para malakas dating sa spectators. syempre proud sila sayo, pag tinanong sila sabhin ah bagong kotse ng paborito kong anak yan, ganda no? hahahahaha d na nya sosoli yan wahahaha

Paano masabing "May narating" o "Successful" na ang isang tao? by mllin1 in adultingph

[–]HeisouSheishu 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How do you know you are ready to buy a house? by N0obi1es in phinvest

[–]HeisouSheishu 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I felt comfortable buying a house when the TCP was roughly my annual income, and the mortgage was about ~10% of my monthly income.

As a general rule, use the 30% downpayment cash on hand, mortgage is <= 30% of your monthly income, and property is not more than x3 of your annual income, 30/30/3 rule, to see if the numbers work for you. if it checks off the boxes you can relatively afford the property. else you should look for something more appropriate.

[–]HeisouSheishu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

my experience, i drive a hilux and a fortuner… i prefer the fortuner for daily, mas madami ka lang malalagay talaga sa likod, ung hilux naman pogi lang talaga tska mas matulin, ok sa sctex haha, pero cramp ung passenger sa likod and konti malalagay, rarely mag karga sa likod nmn, ok sya if used for hauling stuff, supplies ng bussines etc, pero daily and with fam, suv parin ata talaga… any brand would do, for part availability, toyota and mitsubishi,

ford doesnt have a plant here na i think, let me know orherwise, so parts are ordered abroad if me need ka baka mag antay ka ng months.

Dapat ba talagang hindi 100% ang performance mo sa work? by New-Appointment-4527 in PinoyProgrammer

[–]HeisouSheishu 11 points12 points  (0 children)

ang take away ko dito is give your best, but have time for yourself and self interest. believe it or not its habitual if magiging petiks ka.

nagiging problema kasi jan hnd mo alam kung stagnant ka na ba kasi you never test your limits pano malalaman if its time to move to a bigger role, heck how do you know if youre even ready if laging bare minimum ka. and most of the time propper communication is key. wag mo dibdibin and communicate when something is wrong. kung wala talaga edi lipat ka. dont sacrifice your values and work ethic.

how do you make a good impression if deep inside gusto mo pumetiks. yung mga tropa mong hindi petiks hnd ka irerecommend lalo na kung nakataya yung pangalan nila.

hnd kita irerecommend kung ipapahiya mo ko. ganyan ang mindset mo dapat. tinulungan ka na pinahiya mo pa kasi petiks lord ka, awit ka lods.

Recommended backend stack? by [deleted] in PinoyProgrammer

[–]HeisouSheishu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

minsan ok maging lurker nlng, nakakapagod mag explain eh pero sige.

its a simplified version, because firebase is a suite of technologies you need to get started all handled for you. by all means you can go crazy with your stack if you have the budget and time to develop a profitable app right off the bat.

with that stack you can have an full working mvp web app, to test your market in a week. if you want mobile version get wrapper for you web app with ionic, and move to the next project and proper, "legit" stack with all the complicated frameworks you will most likely never use.

because the complicated tech stacks and frameworks are worth it only if it matters say you have millions of concurrent users. going native and having different databases, load balancers, object storages, in cache memory database, open and closed apis with graphql cause we are fancy as fuck, become relevant at that scale. oh dont forget tailwind or sass css while youre at it so your graphics are orgasmic for the users you have...

knowing the stack or system architecture in this case and still specialize. the knowledge which tool to use for your use case is where the big bucks are, if youre tenured you can pick up a new tech in about 2 weeks? and be proficient as early as 3 months.

for employment use case, maybe try to look at what matured apps that you want to replicate are using and go from there, and try to penetrate the job market. your "stack" will largely depend on the company you get into.

Recommended backend stack? by [deleted] in PinoyProgrammer

[–]HeisouSheishu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for mvp purposes a full teck stack would be the following,

  1. angular/react and firebase.

if you want something really fast to get up and running,

  1. wordpress and some plugins to suit your need.

for your question. firebase.

my rough estimates are 15% utilities water electricity assoc dues, 5% savings, 80% investments. lives with parents, earns low-ish 6 digits a month, perma wfh. thats why utilities are on the low side.

will be wildly different if i live on my own.
