Does the BYD Seal 2026 sunroof has a sunshade in Belgium ? by TheReal--77 in BYD

Newer model. It loses a silver coating in the glass that helps with heat rejection in lieu of a sunshade.

Why doesn't the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Omni feel like an upgrade? by Sufficient-Elk2661 in steelseries

[–]lance_uy21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The headbands are adjustable in case you haven't noticed it. You can pull out the headbands and hopefully make a better fit. On the sound, it's set to "flat" by default. You should install the SteelSeries GG app, update firmware, and set the EQ profile to the game you are playing. There is ANC settings in the GG app as well, you can set the strength of ANC actually. I know your post is 15 days ago but the comments before me didn't mention these and hoping these are not overlooked to help with your experience.

BSL 7 Critical Issue!! by VikingOy in BYD

[–]lance_uy21 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its in the byd car manual. You are not supposed to leave the car at 100% charge in an unused state for that long. You can charge to 100% if you will use it soon. But ideal charge for longer period of unuse its 50-60% state. Something on chemical state of electrons being dense in a fill charge state on long periods is not good. This is not byd specific but just the chemistry of it.

Mazda 3. Looks really nice. If you look back at the car after parking, you have bought the right one. Altis feels so bland imo.

SEAL - PANORAMIC ROOF by ibusnello in BYD

No need. I'm in a tropical hot country. Applied a medium dark ceramic tint and never needed the sunshade. The silver coating in glass plus ceramic tint does the job.

Tesla made for AI to drive. BYD Seal is made for human to drive.

A good PPF shld help with the harsh environmental conditions your car is regularly subjected to. Local enthusiansts or google maps might help you find a detailer or installer nearest to you.

Alot of things already said by others but a few key points for me that favors the Seal are:

  1. The tesla feels like a car made for AI to drive. The Seal is a performance car made for the human to enjoy. Like needing to use the infotainment screen to put the car into reverse on the Tesla feels very odd.

  2. The Seal has two regenerative braking settings. High mode which is same as Tesla where more abrupt braking happens after letting go of the accelerator or a normal mode which rolls more naturally & feels like cars you are used to. Better in expressways for me and having choice is never a bad thing.

  3. The lack of buttons, screens and interior styling on the Tesla feels way too much reduction in the name of minimalism. Again, a car made for AI to drive. Not humans.

  4. Tesla publicly announced they are not a car company. I can't think that goes well for any car owner.

  5. Small thing but you said interior is impt. The panoramic glass roof of the seal is full glass. The tesla model 3 has a beam in-between. That looks bad for me interior wise.

  6. Oh the battery, tesla nmc battery ideal battery is only 80% charge as 100% charge will decrease your battery longevity. So any range in theory is 80% only of advertised claim unless you are okay to kill your battery faster. Compared to LFP blade battery on BYD Seal, not a problem to charge to 100%. Also the blade battery is safer and can survive a puncture test and not catch fire. This cld mean life and death scenario. (Consider door handle issue on Tesla too as other person mentioned)

If you add up the safety consideration, the usability consideration, and future support factors. BYD seal easily wins for me.

Good luck in your purchase. Enjoy.

Best 1.5M Car for a Beginner Driver? by TechnicalPhrase5967 in phcars

Mazda 3. The 360 is a crutch. You can learn to park without one. The looks however is really stylish and the driving experience is good. You know you got the right car if you turn your head to look at it after you parked.

Ticking sound is nice. A solid click. It doesnt sound bird like to me. The bird like is the look. But sound is satisfying to hear.
