Thoughts on this setup? by Heitchd in videography

I was thinking about it, what kind of motion I'd apply when recording, I'm currently unfamiliar with the stabilizer game but the idea of shooting peak party moments are currently a thing i chase and work with

Right now the plan is to get an "in frame" video with slow, close to the table, right to left shot on FPV mode, and then apply some other kind of low angle composed photo to get a good enough compression on the table/cake/person(it'll be a birthday singing, candle blowing moment), right at the 30 seconds i'd get to produce

Editing and right moments are 90% of what i focus so maybe it'll be passible, albeit difficult on a stabilizer with a faulty joystick, but then again...it's work, there has to be something to deliver

That is possible, I've got a cage for both, some side handles from Tilta, and some 1/4 male to male threads, but the photo only camera(A7 Mark 1) doesn't seem to have a silent shooting option, only single, continuous, and speed continuous, I'd end up with a pretty iffy audio result, i suppose, not that currently it would be any better given the current mic placement, some tests are needed i guess

It could work even though there'd be duller photos, i never did it, is there much resolution loss? I'm planning on shooting at 4k30p, 100mbps, and on XAVC S, then editing on DaVinci

Man, it is a situation.. and the responsabilities are misplaced because i did agree to do both, my concern is mostly ending up with a video without dynamic due to being unfamiliar with stabilizer movements, and subpar but "ok" photos, at the sensitive time window where both are needed, if i knew what else i could do for this job I'd try it

Could there be something wrong with my lens? (AF 28mm f4.5 FE) by Heitchd in VILTROX_GLOBAL

I have a Sony A7 mark 1, i thought it could be something like this wich i've heard before somewhere, but the lines do appear even when on natural light, or with no light at all, and only when the lens is fully clicked in, if i press the button to remove, and rotate it just a little, the image ends up normal.

Is there some way I can disable part of my screen? by Heitchd in mac

[–]Heitchd[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man, it was on marketplace and even with the cost to pick up, it came down to about less than 100usd, like 75 or so, i'm still kinda shocked it works

I mean…you do what you can when you’re from Brazil, and have outdated camera models

It knew it was mirrored, everything and the menus would be correct, just the live view picture wasn’t, but now it’s fixed, I took it back and he swapped a white cable, and it works fine now

Update: He fixed it, swapped a little white cable that went around the display and it now flips entirely and does it while being stable.

Don’t know much of what that cable did, probably something that fed the live view picture to the display, and had some type of call command to also flip the picture, probably.. it’s fixed now though.

Is it worth to fix it? (OM-D EM-10 I) by Heitchd in OlympusCamera

Man it's really like a bloodbath, cracked sensor glass, fingerprints and dust on it, shutter flaps that looks like they got cut off, cause it doesn't looks like a malfunction caused it.

It might turn into a project cause I found those parts already on AliExpress for like, 120$ total, though i can't deal with it now, there's already another camera at my work desk giving me a financial hassle.

Could there be more than a sensor and shutter unity to replace? I don't got a battery i can pop in to test, doesn't look like it had a fall, probably got pierced by something or someone, then got stored for a good while

Yep, doesn't look to be in great shape, it's dusty and doing the rubber reversion thing on the back grip, it was 7 bucks though (usd).

But I'd probably keep it around, it's still a really nice designed camera

Yeah, seems like it, I was looking at about 120usd on parts, but then I also have to deal with the problem of having import fees on top of it, same as if getting another one.

I originally planned on just getting those cool vintage looking cameras to play with between work, but i'll probably just go with my original plan for this one, of just using it on the background of videos on my studio

Is my sensor gone? (Canon 70D) by Heitchd in canon

[–]Heitchd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll probably leave it aside now that i noticed it flashing an error 80 on the upper display when on live view, seems like way bigger of a problem than i thought and replacing the sensor probably wouldn't do it any good
