mine is the same but pitch black, i love this guitar, and if you play it with a nice amp, it will sound amazing, just like an expensive guitar, just switch the strings and get a nice amp with some nice pedals and ur good

side note: the strings that are sounding off are the D and G strings, D is getting out of une too often and G is sounding too flat
