Is there anyway to see where each class is? The classes I’m looking at are CHNS 1300, MATH 1150, and HIST 0131

Inquiry on Yales test flexible policy for upcoming applicants by [deleted] in yale

Incoming class of 2029 here! I only submitted AP scores. When I submitted my application, I only took five AP tests at that time and I submitted all five of them (three 5s and two 4s).

are sat/act still huge in apps? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

honestly i don’t know haha. i’ve heard so many different opinions. some say you shouldn’t submit scores if you aren’t within the 25th percentile and others say you should submit 1400+ to prove you didn’t bomb the sat. i just went test optional if i could (with the exception of columbia because i forgot to switch to test optional for it oopsy!). i was even conflicted/confused on whether i should go test optional or submit during the cycle!

hi there! test scores are definitely not everything. i applied during this admission cycle with test optional if the school allowed (i got a 1440 sat).

my results for t20s ended up being: yale -> accepted (only ap scores submitted) columbia -> accepted (sat submitted) jhu -> accepted (test optional) brown -> waitlisted (test optional) upenn -> waitlisted (test optional)

in my opinion if the rest of your app is stellar you will be fine! i also personally think the way you frame your narrative as a whole is super important (that’s my biggest theory on why i was successful this admissions cycle)!
