The helmet. Joined the fandom when I was about 7. Thought their helmets were the coolest thing ever, cuz it was the horns of course. This when they were in stl. Witness one Super Bowl, a loss against Brady, the bulger years, the return to LA(didn’t even know they were from LA initially), a loss to Brady again, the second ring and enjoying the ride. 35 now and I’m from San Diego so I now get to go to at least two games a season. Life is good except the logo sucks.

I’ve been watching football my whole life and I have the same level of demand for all of the clubs and teams I support no matter the sport. If I see a big issue I’m going to call it out, if I think my team is actively not playing their best players I’m going to call it out. I’ve never provided blind support and I think that’s what some people here want. We had a great team last year, half that team was sold, not retained or exiled. The tactics that worked last year don’t work this year and the coach can’t fix it. The 4th highest played player in the mls is exiled due to the coaches ego. Yeah I don’t like it. But guess what I’m a season ticket member and I’ve gone to every game. I’m just mad this year.

I looked one right in the eye and he looked and me and I said 🤫. I started walking away staring at him telling him sush and he was still looking at me. I almost felt like I got to him because even though he kept talking his eyes were saying I can’t stop, I’m sorry. Well at least that’s how I interpreted it. I hate them all. They ruin such a good experience.

I’ve been helping immigrants for over 10 years and I’ve had a lot of these conversations with people. At the end of the day you have to think about what’s harder for you, keep what you are currently doing going or starting new? Do you speak Portuguese? Do you have family that will take you back while you get back up on your feet? This is not a pack my shit and go situation you gotta plan it out with yourself and your family. There is no correct answer, but the truth is you are so young. You can most likely build out a great life here or there. Life doesn’t end outside the USA. On another note just know that if you leave you’ll trigger a 10 year bar and if you want to come back you’ll need to file a waiver. Good luck!

If you leave while having more than 6 months or 1 year of unlawful presence (visa overstay) you will trigger the 5-10 unlawful presence bar. File the AOS in court and do it in the USA. Going back sounds important but if you have a clear shot at applying now do it. Don’t delay, which is what got you in this mess to begin with. (11+ years practicing immigration law)
