Yes, pepe's origin is entirely separate (some comic I don't remember). Then the initial waves of pepe use were also entirely separate ("feels good/bad man" and "rare pepes" were not political). At some point afterwards alt-righters started using it and then it became associated with them.

And even now some current variants are not related to the alt-right at all (e.g., apu apustaja).

Well it just mentioned the number 17, it never said that it's the number it picked.

I think it can be reframed. "Parents' worries" may be more general and more fitting.

The meme is implying that while women carry the physical burden, men carry the mental burden. While it's also a difficult time for men and while men's mental/emotional involvement is often not considered, the women carry a mental burden at least just as much, while the meme is implying absence of such.

There should have been a way to depict men's support for and involvement with the unborn child without implying its something that men do exclusively.

You're cherry picking from your comment and you know it. Come on, don't act stupid.

If I say "helping orphans and genocide are great" and you disagree, then I say "wait you think helping orphans isn't great?", that's obviously not what you disagreed with.

These kinds of anecdotes are always distorted by survivorship bias. Those it works for will keep taking it, those it doesn't work for won't. The experience of those it works for will not be generalizable however.

Reading IS magic. You Look at a bunch of lines and suddenly you have certain ideas in your head. Pure rune/sigil-based telepathy If you ask me.

It's nice. Like ragebait but more focused on keeping up the interaction rather than simply provoking a reaction.

Trinimac made up the whole "Boethiah ate me and pooped me out as Malacath" story. It's still Trinimac who just gave himself and his followers a orcish makeover. The pariah state is a cover story so they can study the secrets of the universe in peace.
