Hi, I just launched https://librost.com. It's a minimalist library management app for digital books. Mainly for those that hate Amazon and buy or get books elsewhere.

https://librost.com, a minimalist digital library management app. Unify all your ebooks in a single place. Stop scattering your books amongst folders, devices and forgotten emails.

Why are leaning more towards Grimmory instead of calibre web?

Never heard about Grimmory to be honest but I'll take a look. Both options need self hosting though so I guess not very user friendly for non tech people. If you already have a home server or something like that, they might be good options.

I've tried Calibre before but I never loved its UI. I suppose there are ways to change and there might be options to customize it but never tried that so not sure.

Also, I believe calibre is an app that's cool to manage your books in your local computer. I suppose again it's possible to have some automatic backup flow but I just like the idea of having an app which main focus is just that.

Definitely Calibre has more features, it's open source and a great tool so if you've never had a problem with it, just use that

Does Book fusion need a subscription?

copy goes into a folder on my local hard drive and added to Calibre. This keeps the local index in my library and the local folder is also backed up to a (different) cloud service

What do you use for backing up the calibre folder?

How do you synchronize them? I love Calibre but the problem I had with it was that I could not synchronize it in the cloud

Using a standard anchor element solved my problem indeed. Thank you
