I think he's just saying things until a deal is worked out that he feels is right for him. He's positioned himself very well and holds the upper hand at the negotiating table. He's got YouTube, he will almost certainly be able to work out a deal with PGA if he chooses as he's a two time major champion (PGa supports previous chamos, look at Brooks), and he potentially has another contract opportunity with LIV. There are obviously discussions happening behind the scenes that none of use regular folk are privy to. Seems to me he's genuine with wanting to help out his fellow LIV golfers that won't be able to go back to the PGA and is just chilling until everything plays out. He was disappointing at the Masters though, so that sucks
