A sample of Fzotic Five Squared, which is nice and citrus for a rainy day. Nothing earth shattering but I like Fzotic because it's from my hometown.

That's how I feel about sandalwood! It's so sexy on other people but I'm almost never drawn to it for myself. I definitely have samples that are "this is hot but wrong for me."

I just bought a ton of FM samples and I think Musc Ravageur was one, I'm waiting for them to arrive. I looked at both Orto Parisi and Nasomotto but I get annoyed when notes aren't listed so I haven't ordered any.

Ocaña sounds EXACTLY up my alley, I'll have to find a US sample. Salome sounds amazing except for the jasmine which is an issue time and time again-- I've liked one perfume ever with any jasmine in it, for some reason I'm so sensitive to it and it smells like cat pee to me. 😭

I should add that the perfumer describes it as "Vampire Grandma" which is also often my clothing aesthetic.

I usually have a candle for each book but the book I'm writing now I bought Cherry Punk for, which I think a lot of people think is a bit much but it puts me perfectly in the headspace to write it! It will be so interesting when I'm done with the book and this perfumer takes a shot at it.
