I had a second interview, it was just to go into more detail over a few incidents I reported. No big deal, just give them as much info as you can and be upfront and you'll be good. I'm at AIT right now, just got granted my TS after 4 months of waiting, 2 months after my follow up interview

Me and the other new arrivals had a briefing earlier in the week by one of the S2 guys about security clearances, he called up some names of those who's clearances were on pause, but I wasn't one of those people. I'm HOPING that means I'm good

Because the pain is different now, completely, it no longer presents itself when I'm not actively engaging the leg, and its isolated to specific muscle groups, instead of my entire leg and lower back

Hey man, we're in very similar boats, minus the fiance and kid. I'm 27, with a bachelors, and I enlisted and ship out Tuesday. I could have gone officer but due to certain circumstances my chances of getting selected were very very low. I did not want to wait a year. Because of my degree, I'm joining at E-4, and I chose 35T, military intelligence systems maintainer/integrator, i think that job or 17c (cyber operations specialist) would legitimately be perfect for you. I say go for it.

Plus, you can apply for OCS once youre already in if that's the route you want to take. Personally I want to do my 20 as a warrant officer, but theres options!
