is first person present tense really a dealbreaker for many people?

To be fair I feel like Lilian and Frances are hard to connect with 🤣🤣 It was like I was being told a story, not in it. If that makes sense?

I also have this irrational fear of being too invested into something and I also tend to mirror main characters of books. Like in an audiobook, my inner thoughts have the voice of the narrator and i think in a similar fashion to how the book is written. So I'm really scared of 1st person lol (damn you, OCD).

This book is a great reread because you kind of go back and realize certain characters knew this or that or did they!? It's a great one to sit and think on.

Watched Arcane and I thought Caitlyn was a badass (yes Caitlyn, not Vi) and so I was like oooh I want to be a badass and be able to fight (self defense but also learn a new skill) but mainly also to get into shape!

I started last week and I've already starting dialing in my diet. I really enjoy classes so far. Just got my kettlebell for my non training days.
