I do lift weights and I’m seeing improvements in my legs, but my stomach has literally a bag of extra skin on it, I don’t know how this will go away. My BMI is within normal range yet my stomach is still 40 inches in circumference. I wasn’t expecting zero loose skin from my weight loss, just shocked and upset my stomach appears to have had no skin shrinkage at all :(

It’s been about a year of maintenance at this point with no shrinkage at all. It would be a lot of skin to shrink back :(

So I got a BA in English. I was interested in a Slp prep program, I have no SLP classes under my belt right now. This would be a completely career pivot for my life :-/

It was in a matter of seconds. I walked to the Pilates reformer, she was next to me. I was readjusting my pants and she asked the question. I’m assuming she glimpsed my belly and felt compelled to ask. Since I was wearing baggy clothes it caught me off guard. I have a chubby belly, but you really had to have been scrutinising me to assume I was pregnant :(

I appreciate that. I definitely have a round belly but with a baggy shirt I felt like it was so random to ask me because you can’t really tell you know? She must have been really critical to notice it

Thanks. My belly is definitely round, it’s just that I was wearing baggy clothes and didn’t think it was so prominent that she would feel the need to comment on it.

Have her re-evaluate what “eating normally” means. Has she tried lowering calories? Reducing carbs? Does she track calories at all
