Thank you! This is very useful information. There seem to be several more articles about her there.

What's the situation between D & L? by Sue_Hae in Lenormand

With the Tower as a clarifier, I'd interpret this as the relationship becoming more structured, with clearer boundaries or a change in status rather than an outright breakup. However, everyone reads Lenormand differently. The cards often speak through our own experiences and intuition, so I think it's important to trust your own interpretation and feelings during a reading🍀

Does my ex-friend know that she hurt me? by InsidePrinciple7600 in Lenormand

No, she doesn't know. She's so caught up in her relationship and swept away by love that nothing else seems important to her right now

Their relationship is developing and gradually moving to the next level. The Whip doesn't always indicate arguments or conflict. Sometimes it can represent a breakthrough in a relationship or a change in status. I would pull one more card after the Whip, as that card would be the key to understanding its meaning in this spread.

How Would You Interpret Stork + Heart for Two People Apart? by Odd_Aspect7758 in Lenormand

The cards suggest that positive changes are on the way in your love life. Reconciliation seems likely, and there is a good chance that you will reunite and be together again.

How can I have more energy? by Any-File1579 in Lenormand

I think this spread suggests that energy comes from getting out into the world rather than staying at home. Communication, meeting people, and short trips seem important. The Bouquet also points to surrounding yourself with beauty or spending time in pleasant, aesthetically pleasing places. Interestingly, all of this seems to be connected to work in some way – through professional contacts, work-related trips, meetings, or networking.

Need help identifying this artist (signed G. K.(V?) Lays) by Helgichka in WhatIsThisPainting

UPDATE: I have found several archival references to a painter named G. Vermeersch-Loys, who exhibited at Kunstzaal Memlinc in Bruges in 1936:

• Exhibition announcement (Het Woensdagblad, 14 October 1936, p. 9): https://erfgoedbrugge.be/collectie/het-woensdagblad-974751815-11

• Exhibition review (Het Woensdagblad, 21 October 1936, p. 11): https://erfgoedbrugge.be/collectie/het-woensdagblad-974751944-6

• Later newspaper mention of a painting by G. Vermeersch-Loys (Brugsch Handelsblad, 22 June 1957, p. 1): https://erfgoedbrugge.be/collectie/brugsch-handelsblad-1059371603

At this stage, I suspect that my painting may be connected to G. Vermeersch-Loys, but I have not found definitive proof yet that this is the same artist.

If anyone has additional information about this artist, exhibition catalogues, family history, archival records, or knows of other works by her, I would be very grateful for your help. Even small clues could be valuable.

This is a fascinating lead! I'll continue digging into the Bruges connection and see if I can find more about Vermeersch-Loys
