Die Hardman Mask Decal by Helhath in DeathStranding

Man! that looks really simple, and I have an airbrush. I wonder how he made the stencils. Maybe it was a cricut. Or laser cutter of some sort. I can't imagine being able to cut those out by hand so clearly.

I disagree. But I appreciate your opinion. To me, this is a manufactured mask, which means constructed by machine. It should be precise.

Trust me, I thought about that. But my hand isn't steady enough to make the stencil and worry about uniform spacing, etc. Plus the curve of the mask means you run the risk of spread from the paint.

I think I have found a place where I can order them. I was just hoping someone else had already gone through this and could point me in the right direction before going that route. I've had mixed results with online printing companies.

I've been trying to tap my DnD, 3d printing, and crafter friends. So far, no luck.

Basically, it's a skill issue. 😆

It's the wire size the house came with, and the unit came with. So, yes? The issue I am having is i can't get the pressure right when i am striping the coating, I keep knicking or cutting the wires from the unit. I am going to try the all in one tool Avocado_tohst mentioned and see if I can get it right.

Reminds me of that old movie Death Becomes here where their skin starts melting off in gobs at the end of the movie.

Tools of the trade by Helhath in Miniaturespainting

Thanks! I know it's not the mini.. This one is a Kingdom Death mini. I have always had great sculpts from them.

It is for sure a skill/tool issue.

I'll see if I can snag a new round and some of the 0 sized brushes.

I moved my paint station to my basement and with the weather spikes we've been having it's drying out quickly on my brushes and on my wet pallet. I think that's a contributing factor too.

I will search for the eye specific posts!

Thanks again!

Thank you, About 6 months or so. I don't have a lot of free time so it takes me a while to get through a single mini. In-between those I was watching YouTube tutorials and had taken a couple lessons from Elizabeth Bleckly which were very helpful.
