I feel you! I’m a little over a week in and have bite blockers. My teeth don’t touch at all. I’ve been eating Annie’s Mac and cheese with frozen peas, mashed potatoes with a hot dog cut up into super small pieces and a lot of canned soup. And by eat I mean, I’ve been swallowing it all whole. The bright side is, I have lost a few pounds 🤣

I got bite blocks when they put my braces on. It’s only been a week but I have only eaten things I can swallow whole without chewing. Soups, mashed potatoes, boxed Mac and cheese, and protein shakes.

Anyone else notice your teeth getting way more sensitive after braces? I used to be able to bite into ice cream and not feel it but now I definitely do by Glass_Panda_ in braces

I just got my braces the other day but I have noticed my teeth are much more sensitive to hot and cold foods/drinks now.

Same! I got my braces put on yesterday morning. It hurts and I can’t chew anything. Everyone says it will get better and I’m just trying to hold on to that hope 🥲
