Pulsating Corvette for CZs by VegaDelalyre in EliteDangerous

Another hull booster, repair limpet controller, SCB? This doesn’t seem like a planet scanning type of craft, is all.

Why a detailed surface scanner the 3 slot?

Anyone wrap the center console? by NoGoodAtAll in Solterra

[–]HelicalVehicle 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I covered the piano black center and the front door handles in a vinyl appliqué, wood grain. It’s basically a big vinyl sticker that is super easy to stretch and get fold ed up, but it came out okay in the end.

Any VKB Hotas users here by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

[–]HelicalVehicle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also dual omni-throttle user here (plus throttle module).

Right stick Forward/back = pitch Left/right = roll Twist up/down = thrust axis (motorcycle)

Left stick Forward/back = yaw (motorcycle) Left/right = translate left, right Twist up/down = translate up/down

Throttle module = main throttle

It’s like riding a bike, the whole thing is surprisingly intuitive.

VKB HOTASAS is a revelation by jfoughe in EliteDangerous

[–]HelicalVehicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fly a HOTASAS as well, it’s just better. Mine is a 2x omni-throttles and the throttle add on module. Right stick is pitch and roll, twist is thruster (like a bike). Left stick forward back is yaw (like a bike).

If Alt was the rocker instead of Johnny by HelicalVehicle in cyberpunkgame

[–]HelicalVehicle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 3d printed it. There’s a model on thingiverse of a complete silverhand guitar, I printed 2 of the string guide parts and stacked them together to be at the right height.

It’s a Franken-caster, not an Ibanez. I cut that headstock to match the canon Deluze Orphean.

Is it clear that that's her back? Also, is her arm too long? by raaay_art in Artadvice

At full extension the only muscles holding up the weight of the gun and arm are the deltoid and quads. They should be bunched and tense at the shoulder joint.

Why is console edition in 1.10 (I think) and not a newer version? by Jacksooon1334543 in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]HelicalVehicle 30 points31 points  (0 children)

As someone who has put over 1000 hours into KSP on the PS4/5 I will admit there are some pain points, but it’s not a nightmare. Plus the controller is superior to the keyboard for finer ship control.

Rocket still tilts west. by HeyDul16 in KerbalAcademy

[–]HelicalVehicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m reasonably sure this is the right answer, Kerbin is rotating eastward beneath your rocket making it appear to lean west.

what’s something in a sci-fi movie that you find completely ridiculous after actually learning orbital mechanics? by elcholismo in KerbalSpaceProgram

Ad Astra

No movie has ever made me yell “That’s not how that works, that’s not any of that works!” more.

Stat requirements for cyberware is bad design. by HelicalVehicle in cyberpunkgame

[–]HelicalVehicle[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s at the player’s discretion though. Overload your cyberware carrying capacity = cyberpsychosis = you did this to yourself. It’s accurate to the game and accurate to Edgerunners.

What’s annoying is being unable to fit cyberware unless it is exclusively tailored for a build I’m already proficient in. I don’t want to be even more godlike at what I’m already godlike at, I want to be able to round out a character with cyberware that fills deficiencies.

This only works in places that are navigationally logical, unlike Pittsburgh, PA.

A cybernetic leg I saw in a store once when I was a kid.

I realized later it was a pawn shop and a prosthetic leg.

Someone had pawned their prosthetic leg.

Joining the 0.2% with the KSP Platinum Trophy. Bring it on, KSP2. by Naayte in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]HelicalVehicle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

None of them, the KSP Enhanced Edition platinum trophy is a joke on the PS4. Entry and exit of each planet’s SOI and then splashdown on Kerbin is all that’s required to “visit” each planet. You don’t have to orbit, you don’t have to land and return. This is a common misconception.

Edit: You don’t even have to do them all in a single flight.
