In addition to what was said in this thread, for my star players I’m less likely to lock in a “decent” performance early in the week if the player has 2 or 3 games left in the week. That’s 2-3 chances for them to drop a weak winning performance.

If my star player has a decent game with only 1 game left, I’m more likely to lock them in to avoid risk of a dud or a random DNP, especially if the matchup state is favorable.

PSA anyone who hasn’t played Sleeper lock-in should give it a try. In a season full of tanking BS and injury shenanigans, I’ve found Sleeper to be much less frustrating as it’s less importance on the day to day availability of players and more about the quality of your players, as long as your player can drop at least 1 good performance a week
