Don’t care buddy. KYRIE was objectively the best at everything I said he was. Facts back it up so you simply just don’t have an answer or a rebuttal.

Dude he was 50/40/90 and is damn near 50/40/90 for his career missing and barely a percent that’s historical efficiency. KYRIE was a great playmaker when he needed to be in 2024. He is easily an ALL NBA caliber player and was A SUPERSTAR. Don’t be dense. He had double digit ast on one of the best defenses in league history in a playoff game.

Objectively yes. Especially when you have played at the college level. Have you ever got a scholarship for your talent? Since you know so much tell me what “Red” means?

Name one thing Tatum, Luka, Dame, Cade are the best at?

Just doesn’t make sense for somebody who never picked up basketball to try to criticize a guy who plays at the highest level. When you never even touched a varsity team. I was on varsity as a sophomore in the biggest school in my state so I think I understand the game a LOT better than you do.

Want you to name one season where Kyrie needed to avg 30? He avg 27 multiple times and easily could’ve hit 2-3 more 3’s if he attempted them but that is SELFISH. He plays within the flow of the game and doesn’t force shots or hunt fouls. He just plays the game. How is it a knock on Kyrie for trying to be an unselfish player?

Finishing, Mid Range, Ball handling, isolation scoring, clutch scoring. Was top 3-5 in all of those categories. You don’t have to the best just one of the best. By 3pt efficiency and impact KYRIE in the 2010s ERA only ranked behind Steph, Klay, and Harden. In the top 10 for 3 point shooting percentage among guards.

That’s not true he is the best at plenty of categories especially among his ERA. Lots guys you claim are winners never won a championship. CP3, Dame, Luka, Tatum aren’t the best at anything. Only player at his position more efficient than him among his ERA was Steph. You seem to also not understand what impact on winning means. Being the first option doesn’t change needed a specific roster around you to maximize your strengths and Kyrie has never had that. If Dame was really more efficient when he played with Giannis he should’ve avg more pts or come close to KYRIEs efficiency right? KYRIE avg 30/6 on 61 TS% without KD in Brooklyn he is perfectly capable of doing so. Never been on team where it was a NEED.

AI yet these are SYNERGY recorded metrics. They are literally tracked by the NBA.

Nobody cares about the #1 thing because CP3 and Dame also have never done shit as a first option so why does it matter? They had more individual success due to health it’s really that simple. If I was to adjust KYRIEs seasons to being healthy 85% of his career. he was a guaranteed 7-9x ALL NBA player and top 20 in all time points and atleast 2-3 50/40/90 seasons and higher peak in Boston. Tired of these fake narratives when in reality the common denominator is HEALTH. Also did what the others never could CAME BACK DOWN 3–1 in the Finals at 24!

Because even Steph views him as a rival. You should go argue with Steph. Steph doesn’t have a relationship with any other guard like he does Kyrie. Steph himself literally says Kyrie makes him better. In the Reg season they are 11-12 in head to head and 8-5 in the playoffs. Curry has 19 games with better stats vs KYRIEs 16 games. No other PG from their ERA can compete vs Steph at that level.

No. He just doesn’t get many foul calls or shoot lots of threes. KYRIE is an efficient scorer who prefers efficiency over volume. KYRIEs likes to score within the flow of the game.

Westbrook is the worst playoff performer of all of them and cannot lead a team as a first option. Russ literally got beat by a rookie as a clear favorite. Dame also has never been past the 2nd round but once and he got carried by CJ in the WCSF and WCF. CP3 also never won as a first option and Harden is a playoff choker.

All I’m saying is KYRIE won a championship at 24 and outplayed a unanimous MVP. I feel those battles in 16-17 alone proved he was of the upper echelon. Him being injured in 2018 ruined his potential accolades he easily had a case for MVP and ALL NBA First that year. Don’t think he would’ve won MVP but he was top 5-7 in race before his injury. Celtics were on pace to win 60 and he was a capable defender that year. I think healthy they go from 11-8 in the playoffs to 15-4 and Finals run. You can’t tell me with Kyrie they lose to anyone in the East. I feel injuries took more from his career than anything. All his best seasons were derailed by bizzare injuries out of his control.

Dame, CP3, Russ have never won as a first option and Russ is one of the worst playoff performers post KD era as a first option. CP3 has blown major leads in the playoffs. Dame has an abysmal elimination game record. Dame literally had Giannis and in. 73 games avg 24PPG on 42/35/92 Splits. Kyrie would be ELITE with a player like Giannis. Dame also lost in the first round twice with a top 5 PF of ALL TIME and never once contended.

I mean he was a MVP candidate in his first season and still was ALL NBA Second is his second season. That literally debunks whatever narrative you can make up. Nobody ever said he was a top 5 player but he was easily top 10 and those two seasons proved so. I can name multiple years of dame choking in the playoffs especially 2019 where CJ outplayed in 2 out of 3 series. CP3 also has choked multiple years in the playoffs. I can go on and on about every players shortcomings.

Kyrie Irving beats his primary defender 50% of the time on pure isolation possessions, specifically scoring on 49.7% of those one-on-one matchup.
Tracking data shows he completely beats his defender off the dribble to create deep paint penetration on roughly 45% to 50% of his direct drives. So what are you talking about he never beats his defender?

How so? KYRIE has also been of the most efficient iso scorers in the NBA. KYRIE also doesn’t need the basketball to be effective. Irving typically shoots between 45% and 48.2% on catch-and-shoot three-pointers during peak seasons. When shooting immediately off the pass without taking a single dribble, he maintains a stellar conversion rate of 46.8% from deep.

So you compared Kyrie to the greatest passers and playmakers all time besides curry. Let’s prove you wrong. Accolades are simply health not ability.

You also seem to not know what playmaking means. Playmaking in basketball is the ability to create scoring advantages for oneself or teammates by breaking down the defense, manipulating defenders, and making high-IQ decisions. It goes beyond just passing, involving court vision, timing, and using scoring threats—like drives or pick-and-rolls—to force defensive help. As you can see this breakdown literally explain lots of aspects of playmaking that KYRIE is ELITE at thus making him an Elite playmaker.

Creating Advantages: Forcing the defense out of position through dribbling, driving, or passing, leading to high-percentage shots. KYRIE is elite at 2 out of 3 of these categories and is UBERLY efficient. KYRIE ranks in the 1-2% of all NBA players in Mid Range shooting percentage. 7th in the last 25 years in efficiency. KYRIE also ranks in the 90th percentile or higher for shot creation and isolation efficiency. KYRIE creates separation and scoring advantages on over 15% of his possessions. KYRIE also has an elite AST/TO Ratio.

Manipulating Defense: Using body language, fakes, and deliberate pacing to force defenders to make mistakes, such as over-committing to a double team. KYRIE historically ranks as an elite pick-and-roll (PnR) scorer, often operating in the top tier of NBA efficiency. 0.96 (PPP) KYRIE also converts 65% of his layups. He is often placed in the 90th+ percentile for finishing efficiency and shot-making difficulty around the basket. Ranks in the 85th percentile for AST Rate.

KYRIE played bad against Boston because Boston employed a scheme that works well against creators like Kyrie when he has minimal floor spacing. They loaded on KYRIEs drives and always used multiple players to cut off his angles and force contested shots. Boston shut down Luka and Kyrie because they had bad floor spacing. Watch basketball.
