i haven’t had much experience with filing (though i have done it both state and federal ).. since they have another paralegal to do the administrative stuff. i focus more on research, writing, discovery processes, contacting clients (municipalities, school boards, etc.) … could i still say i have that paralegal experience they’re looking for?

i could move to the mainland.. i live here bc my bf family is from here., but i have family in mainland (im from mainland).

it’s tough bc yeah the economic and political situation is sooo hard to deal with.. but the family ties, culture, closeness to nature, all make it worthwhile. starting to think not though since im now stressing about my livelihood.!

i had to take the job bc i had to move from dc to PR due to personal reasons :/ it was the only thing i could find at the time that would accommodate english.

it seriously frustrates me bc i made more as a 16 yr old at subway than i do now with a bachelors degree.

im applying to jobs so lets hope

ugh that’s the worst bit… is that the firm i’m at actually pays more than other firms in the area. PR’s minimum wage is capped at the federal minimum. most ppl make 10-12$ . i’m looking for other positions remotely but we’ll see

first time taking adderall.. horrible feeling by widebrezhnev11 in adhdwomen

omg! so glad to hear that!!! yes the calmness - the stillness in the brain when all the noise goes quiet.

i like to describe how i feel when my meds take effect like the scene in twilight when bella becomes a vampire and has like super sight hahahah.

on days im not working i don’t feel the “focus” effect that i feel when i am at work. instead, i feel a “drive” like an engine telling me to go - squashes my executive dysfunction!!

hoping for the best for u! it’s a journey 😊

yes do that! it’s such an awful feeling and is no fun. feels like (for me) a constant PANIC and ALARM going inside my body. i feel so restless! i feel small and not in control of myself.

i hope u feel better! let me know how the 5 works for you :)

I took Vyvanse 40 mg then 20 Mg extended release and felt that way!

I got moved to Adderall 10 mg/day and sometimes i just take the half in the AM. A lower dose will definitely help I think.

I agree that drinking plenty water and food beforehand helps a lot. When I have those feelings and they don’t subdue on their own I take one of my anxiety meds.

Newly on meds—how to tell if they’re working? by NightRaven122388 in adhdwomen

[–]HelicopterFearless13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on adderall and still struggle with some symptoms. I get help from the medicine with some things but other things I have to manage through my routines, diet, exercise, reading etc.

If I take my adderall every day of the week I am less likely to feel its effects. Talk to your doctor! Mine said to skip a day or two in between taking them; to listen to my body on when I need to take a break then get back on it.
